Singing stuff..
 

Okay so I went to State solo and ensemble and got 1s there (1 is the highest rating, 4 is the lowest).

And my choir went to State and got 2s..


And I'm going to be singing "Dearest" on stage (hopefully, if I make it) and I'm going to get a live recording of it for whoever's interested!

That's brave, singing a Japanese song. Might that go against you, though? Some people don't like songs they can't understand, regardless of how lovely the singer's voice is. I remember when American Idol did "World Idol" and the English speaking judges wouldn't vote for the singers who sang in a different language simply because they couldn't understand.

Well a lot of people liked it and said it was cool, and I chose "Dearest" because it's fairly popular (from Inuyasha) rather than "HEAVEN" (which was my first choice).

Well, its a good thing that they're open-minded about it, 'cause most people here aren't...I like Heaven better, but Dearest does seem to be a wiser choice...but nevertheless, congrats on doing well so far, and good luck when you sing Dearest! :)
