Question about A Best CD
Do they still sell A Best with the sleeve case and different cover or was that a limited edition thing?
Yeah, I bought mine last summer and it was an A BEST variation cover.
Was it the Japanese version?
No, it was overseas.
Oh, because I want to buy the Japanese version and I was wondering if they still sold the different cover things. And how about A Ballads?
I think maybe if you get really lucky. Like if they have any left, then you do, right?
my A BALLADS os version had variations, too.
I bought my A Best Japan Version at YA about 1-2 years ago, and I didnīt get the slipcase.
yeah the ones with the slipcase are the limited edition ones. you had to have purchased it back when it was first released. try going to a used-cd shop or something. ebay too.
You probably wont find the Japanese version with the different covers unless you go look on ebay or something. xD If you cant be bothered looking, the overseas version should be good as they retain the first press thing. (yet it isn't as valuable)
i bought a ballads and a best last summer (japanese versions)... a ballads had the different covers thing, a best didnt. hope that helps.
A BEST first press sold out a long time ago, the one with the cardboard slipcase.
All the albums that had the cardboard slipcases are now "normal" CDs. That is, they don't come with the cardboard case anymore (talking about the Ayu CDs here in Japan).
Like others have said, your best bet would be eBay or any used CD/book store you might have near you that sells J-music. o_o I think there's still some overseas versions available with the slipcases though. I actually just bought A Best Japanese version today at Book Off, btw ^^; |
^The exception is MY STORY Classical, which never sold out it's first press.
