New policy towards mega-threads
 

Starting from now the moderators are going to close topics that have more than 1000 posts. If Initiates wish to continue the conversation after the topic is closed they may start a new thread on the same subject. This policy is being implemented for the following reasons:

• Loading large threads is server intensive. In other words it slows the forum down for everyone.
• To improve readability and searchability of the forum.
• To discourage spamming.

This is an interesting decision, and it will hopefully lead to that no threads that aren't posting games are moved to the Posting Games-section in the future.

Most places already do this, so I was surprised that you guys allowed it to go to 250+ pages, lol

I like this idea! Now it will be easier to keep up with artist news and such on the official threads...
