Ayumi like a ninja??
 

hey in the 2006-2006 countdown is it me or does Ayu look like a ninja when she starts to sing evolution?the whole time i was watching all i could think of is this is alot like that show naruto.....and what they r yelling while they r singing (i think its spelled sueya or somethin)....is that a word??i was just wondering if anyone else thought of it that way(the whold ninja thing)??so i guess im also asking was she going for the ninja thing or what??but the countdown was freekin sweet!!!tell me what u think

Yes. She was showing off her new ninja skills. She likes to show off new things that she learns, like gospel style singing. But yea the red get up is tight fitting so it's ninja-like, and some of the dance moves look like fighting stances or something lol. So I see what you mean by ninja, but I'm not into naruto so I didn't think ninja specifically. Oh and the yell which sounds like "saiya!!!" reminded me of martial arts too. I think it all goes with the taiko drum motif.

I try to listen the yell... I think it is FAIYA~?? (Fire being Japanized...)

the evolution outfit for CDL 05 - 06 was suppose to resemble a ninja? hmm i din noe that..

and also, she was shouting "suiya!" all the way which i dont understand what it means.

She shouted 'suiya' at the end of Trauma at CDL 04-05 too so it could be just something she likes to shout to get people shouting with her. At one stage I thought she was shouting 'Shu-ya' XD

Erm... is it "suya"? Something like that I guess ^^ And I agree with everything. And I like her black-red outfit, my favorite combination. lol :) And I think evolution sounds better with them shouting "suya/suiya" or whatever! But she always mixes second or third chorus. Nyah nyah :D

The reason why she's shouting is because there are TAIKO-drums in the back of the stage. When western people say "boom boom, or pom pom" to make a drum-sound, the japanese say "shouga", "shoka" or "showa". "Kuchi Shouga" (also known as Kuchi Shoka and Kuchi Showa) is a system to pronounce the taiko drum-sound in Japanese.

omfg, I loved that performance. It was awesome. I was dancing along with it. LOL. She did look like a ninja which was cool. And the words they were yelling did sound something like sueya.

and didn't they shout something like "Sourya?!?!?!" like the previous CDL 04-05, they did the same thing too..
and i love it so much...
it makes the situation more eagerly and full of energy!!!
