It's about time she came back. They've been blowing up her song on the radio here. It's a hot track. I'll definately be buying this.

and the last time she released an album was 4 years ago, i think...called 'Calm Before The Storm".

^ It was in 2003 (I believe) and called "After The Storm"

The new album is amazing. I think it debuted at number 7 on the billboard 200, and number 1 on the billboard r&b/hip-hop charts.

The cover is bad. It lacks style.

The cover is absolutely awful, as everyone else has said. After the Storm was a pretty bad album, but the cover was gorgeous. This is an insult.

The album's... meh. Boring as hell. Okay. Nothing else comes nearly as close to absolute suckage on here as Everytime tha Beat Drop, thankfully, because that song was horrid.

Monica just seems to be worsening these days. I hope that's just a phase (same for her ghetto hoodstress image).

Everytime Tha Beat Drop was EVERYWHERE. The song did fairly well...maybe not in overall ranking, but in radio airplay. It's a great track, as is most of the album. I agree there were a couple lackluster songs, but I wouldn't say it's boring at all. I liked it better than After The Storm, which was also a very good album, minus a couple boring tracks. I think this is one of her best albums yet.
