PARIS HILTON?!?!?! BEST SUMMER SONG!?! CASSIE WTF?!?!?! This is a new low for music... anyways I personally think "Maneater" is also a much better song than "Promiscuous". Nelly Furtado clearly sold herself to sell a couple more records... Oh and about the best summer songs this year I would probably go with: Dashboard Confessional - Stolen Christina Aguilera - Ain't No Other Man Melissa Etheridge - I Need to Wake Up Kenny Chesney - Summertime Jewel - Good Day Madonna - Get Together Nelly Furtado - Maneater |
Here it's mostly been about Shakira and her hips. Also a song that's probably unknown in the US (yet) is Bot'en Anna by basshunter. Shakira's song is ok but boten anna is crudely home made and isen't very good IMO.

Yes, Rolling Stones got it right! Stars Are Blind is pretty good once you get past the drivel she sings. Since I have enough JPOP on around 98% of threads here, I'll just say the english goodness.
