I thought this might deserve a thread considering the fact that I searched her name and found nothing. Well, earlier this wek, her new music video for her song Play With Fire was shown on TRL and I have to say that I'm very impressed. I was huge fan of her myself until she lost all that weight and released the sub-par Beat of My Heart, along with a somewhat unnecessary "Best of" album (considering the fact that she had only released two CDs at that point). That kind of bothered me, but now I think she's really reinvented herself with this new song because it's just very different for her with the cool beats and very unique style. Hopefully this may just be the beginning to much more wonderful music from Hilary.

Wow, I didn't expect that from Hilary. I must admit that it's a lot better than that awful Supergirl. Hilary's new single isn't bad at all. :)

Yes! Hilary Duff is back!

I too was, and am somewhat still, very dissapointed in Hilary's weight-loss capade but I still love her very much. I loved her songs from MOST WANTED and am glad to see her persuing dance music, my favorite genre. I always hoped Hilary would head toward that genre one day and it seems she is making a flawless transition. I love "Play With Fire" and I also read an interview where she was saying her new album has a "new sound" "unlike anything I've done before". She also made some comments earlier on how it was somewhat "hip-hop" but in this interview she says "I don't want to say it is hip-hop because it is totally not, but it is very electronic. It has a lot of dance melodies." I am so excited!

Wow. I never cared that much for her music, but this song is really good. My only complaint is that it's too short. If she keeps releasing stuff like this I might consider following her.
The video was very entertaining, too, and she looked good in it.

I'm not usually a fan of Hilary Duff's stuff, but this song rocks! the beat is so funky! I hope her new stuff is more like this!

it's also good to see she's not looking as sick (like a sack of bones) as she did in Cheaper By The Dozen II

I feel the same way about the length. I guess I am just so used to Ayu's songs and japanese songs which are alot longer, mainly due to Ayu's LONG intros.
Like I said, her new stuff is supposed to be more "electronic" and "dance" like this one. I too am glad that she isn't looking too sick again... I remember those days when I would preach how Hilary would never fall to the likes of Hollywood pressure and it dissapoints me that she did so...

well to tell the truth I'm a little disappointed because it has been a while since she came out with a new song and I though she would do something different. Like I like the song and all but I just feel it's SAFE... that's all but cool music video and song I like it

I've never liked Hilary's music AT ALL. She's a terrible singer and a very average actress.

That being said, I've always liked her as a person. She's very hard working and very nice.

I thought the same MiYu^chAn.ever since she lost weight and got her new teeth she does look like Kylie.

I never thought that I'd say I like a Hilary Duff song... This song is really catchy, and she sings it terrifically. The video is a bit dissappointing though.
