New VB Tags
 

I got bored today when I got home from school, and I added some VB codes.

For the sake of giving you examples of how to do this, I'm replaced the "[" or "]" in the Vb code with "(" and ")" so in order for this to work when you post or use it in your signature, you MUST replace the parenthesis with the brackets.

I noticed that some people like to use scrolls in their signatures. For those you you who don't know how to do that, now you can use VB code.

Please don't use scrolls in posts often, otherwise I'll take away the tag, because that can get really annoying really quick.

I also added a few little things including an indent option. Sometimes you want posts to be formated a certian way so you use the tab to indent a paragraph, but when you go to look at your post it's gone. Now there is a VB code to make sure you can indent properly.

I also added a simple strikethrough code.

All of the text fomatting tags can be used with both the indent and the strikethrough.

Note - the target="_blank" is important, it's so that if someone clicks on your link it will open a new window and not redirect them away from what they were looking at.

Seems that others are catching on and getting the hang of VBulletin, so I suppose I won't be needed as much anymore...

So is centering your signature the same way. Not sure if this is how its done but someone can help me. ^_^

(center)(img) url of choice or from own computer (/center)(/img)

There is no centering tag, but I can add one right now.

For some reason the img tag doesn't want to work with the centering tag I made.

So if you want to center a picture in your sig just use

<p align=center>(img)image url(/img)</p>

Nice, but I have to admit that the scroll tag doesn't work with Opera. ::Cries pathetically:: But I think I'll get over it. ^_^ However, I used the center VB tag to center my sig image and text, so it worked for me.

why don't use [] for the quotings? i never realize there are so many cool vb codes... thans a lot ayurox!!! tahnks a lot... maybe i'll need this some day... thanks....

Since my previous reply, the scroll has been put into Opera. Best use ever, to me, was when someone used it to make a bunchie look like it was actually running accross the screen. ^_^
