What happened to AHS just now?
 

For quite some time now, an hour or so, when I, for example, hit "Edit" on a post, it don't get the quick edit box, it takes me immediately to the Advanced screen.

Also, beside Quick Links, the small arrow is missing and the little scroll down menu under it is missing. When you click it, it reloads the page and the links on the AHS menu bar changes instead.

Posting a Quick Reply also re-loads the page, which it usually does not do.

it went away now, after around 1.5 hours. During the time hotkeys for bold/italics etc. did not work either (Alt Gr + B).

When I try to edit, it doesn't go to the advanced screen. Maybe it's your skin...

For me, sometimes it goes to Advanced, the other times it's quick edit.

Been like that since I started here.

i never had this problem.

sometimes softwares do go crazy, there is no need to wprry about it. as long as it still works, i dont mind!

Like I said, the problems stopped after around one hour.

They appear now and then, every second day, for a few minutes at most. This time it stayed so long so I had to ask about it.

Is it because of the host?

^ No, and I think what extepan said is totally correct.

Well, obviously, what I wanted to know with this thread is what might be causing it.

another curious error I had just now when making a thread:
1. This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between posts. Please try again in 110 seconds.

Tried again immediately after, and it worked.

Well, for me, if the page hasn't fully loaded and I edit a post, it brings me to Advanced.

If it (nearly) fully loads, I can use the quick way.

After seeing this happening, I've realised it goes to Advanced if I posted this post a while ago. If I just posted it, it'll do the quick edit.

I think it's the aliens. Someone get the tin foil.

i could not access the AHS forum at all for the past hour. the site just came back. did anyone have the same problem?
