Thoughts on the JEWEL PV
 

I just had time to draw a deep breath and actually watch it through after the frantic mirror creating, lol.

I think it's very pretty, especially the scene with her by the tree and the snow made of jewels, and when you can see her eyes made out of precious stones.

While it certainly did not contain much action it was still pretty to look at, very much of a Christmas feel to it, I think.

Quite beautiful and certainly one of her most original pvs to date. All those crystal effects and the simplicity of it fit perfectly with the the song. And Ayumi looked simply stunning. I want to dye my hair blonde now!

One of my fav PV's of hers, I paused the video just to look at her eyes too. I watched it so many times in the last hour already. I loved the crystal water dripping from the diamond flowers, it was so beautiful.

I think.

I just died.

And went to a jewelry store.

It is her best PV this year. Definitely makes up for Beautiful Fighters! ;D

I wonder what kind of stones they bought... Swarovski crystals for sure, but there's several colored stones, too.

850,000USD does give a whole lot of precious stones... I wonder what avex is to do with them now :).

I love the part where the jewel flowers bloom and the jewel leaves start falling and ayu caught one of them. ^^ And of course the jewel rain made it all seem worth it to me. I love how every little thing was so intricate and made of jewels. Like the butterfly, ayu's eyes, hair, arms, and even the trunk of the tree, who've thought of that? :laugh

One of her very original PVs.This is one of her best PV or probably her best PV for a ballad.

Absolutely beautiful. I'm amazed at how stunning it is, visually. I was afraid at first that it was going to look cheap and overly digital. But it really looks breathtaking, and very winter-fresh.

Was the poofy-white dress Ayu a bird? She was atop a tree, had feathery eyelashes, and jeweled feathers were dropping from her. I think that's very creative. My favorite thing were her eyes... not only were they an interesting color, but they looked as if they had actual jewels inside them, as well.

The only strange thing to me is Ayu's new hair color/style. It makes her look very young. Maybe it's just very reminiscent of the SEASONS era.

The scene where she caught the JEWEL leaf was so neat, it looked perfect. I loved it, too. It was the only part of the PV with some action in, watch out, falling leaves!

I can honestly tell you that I haven't been extremely stunned by ayu's pv for quite a long time (hmmn.. since after Memorial address era?). Not that I dun love the pvs during the past two years, it's just that I never kept my mouth open while watching those pvs until this pv. This pv is just simply wonderful, and ayu is so pretty in the video. All three styles in the pv are so beautiful (meaning ayu + the set).

Yeah... it's so pretty.. I'm still speechless about this video. One note: I just love the concept that the diamond ayu never sings in the video... :D

It's a little of the STEP you concept, with the different outfits, haha... not anything like it, though.

I want them to release information on the stones they used, 531 diamonds, 23814 crystals, 9 emeralds... something like that :).

It was visually stunning o_o the whole video was eye candy. Every little thing was made from jewels down to the leaves and butterflies. Although the video was just a little boring, the visual concept made up for it.

LOL yeah STEP you concept, except they omit 2 ayus in this one :D.

I wonder if the tree is just a CG or they really make something with some real diamonds on it.. and the flowers surrouding the second ayu should be fake rite..?
