I'm considering getting an Ayu tattoo...
 

I want to get her A symbol...do you think I should do it? What design of her A symbol should I get, what color, and where should I get it? Ohh and how much does a tattoo cost? Can anyone give me an estimate? I think I might get it after I graduate this year before I go to Japan. I'm thinking I might want it in a place I can cover it up so if I get a job that doesn't like tattoos I can cover it. Any suggestions are welcome. I really don't think I will regret it because this tattoo will be a symbol of someone who was very important to me throughout my teen years. It will be a memory forever engraved in my skin that will remind me of the good old days, lol...

You have the same idea as me, I wanna get the A symbol as my tatoo too. Since my name is Anthony it works out well for me.

I completely agree with this. It's great that you love Ayu a lot but a tattoo is permanent. You want to make sure it serves more than one purpose....

^^actually, it seems alot of people like the idea, in that thread, at least 3 people show their tattoos.

you can have tattoo's removed effectively now without people even knowing you once had one in the particualr place it was in. It may be alot more expensive than normal removal procedures at the moment but in the coming years i'd say it would rapidly become alot cheaper. So you can easily have it removed before your old and full of wrinkles, lol.

i think it depends on how you put it and whether it suits your skin, your face, and your body... not everyone doing it will look cool and sexy... gotta think 1,2,3,4,5,6 times!!

What if you start to hate ayu as you grow older? I've seem some fans who were quite harcore at the start and later they just went "ayu? blah"

I honestly don't ever see myself hating Ayu...I would bet money that I will never hate Ayu for as long as I live...

Well this tattoo is going to be premerment and lets face it, there will be a time when you wont like Ayumi so much any more, and you may go ew why? lol But you can always resort to tattoo removal surgery =D but if you want one, just get a small one the size of your thumb, what about getting it above your ankle on the right or left side, i think it would be pretty cool :p

Hm... I love MY STORY A but only if you make a small one.. I don`t like big tattoos >_< And it doesn`t matter too much if you name doesnt start with A, or you can just design the tattoo with you first letter of the name? I don`t know, just giving advice :laugh I would put it somewhere where I could cover it with clothes cause sometimes the tattoo doesn`t go with some clothes. At least that`s what I think :D

I agree -- you don't wanna be one of those people who regrets/hates their tattoo years later... and you can't say "i'll always love ayu" -- people's tastes change as they change and grow.

if you can incorporate the symbol in some other design then that may be a better idea -- like ayu's flying unicorn with the ayu symbol in it

why dont you try it with a marker? see how it goes and which A suits you more
