Wanted Ayu to release A BALLADS?
 

I'm missing this part... as she don't wanted completely to release A BEST, does she wanted to release A BALLADS?

i want another A BALLADS 2..
must be really cool..
having JEWEL, Secret, HEAVEN and other 2004-2005 ballads into one album, should be really cool!

Yes, she DID want to release A BALLADS... I have a hard copy the interview with ayu about this album... If someone can give the link, maybe it's so good.. :D

She did? I would rather A BALLADS 2 than A BEST 2... In ballads the instrumentation was diferent than in the original songs. Not all, but mostly. You can see the diference in M from ballads and original right? ;)

Did ayu really? Because, you know, in the "ourselves" PV they show covers of CDs were she weren't really confident with: ayu-mi-x (the first), NEVER EVER, A BEST and... A BALLADS.
But I'm not really sure... Because ayu had a certain vision of "A BALLADS" that was portrayed in the photoshot and "RAINBOW" PV. There didn't seem to be so much negativity surrounding it. Or at least I haven't heard about it.

That is true... Man. Ayu's strange/symbolic videos really mess up my head. I love it.

I think ayu wanted to release it. She was mostly in charge at the time and I'm sure she was consulted before they changed the release from single to Album format. RAINBOW was supposed to be a single, at least I read that somewhere. =P

i thought he/she asked "does she want to release A BALLADS 2?"
so i answer the question according to my perception of her question...

if he/she asked "did ayu ever release A BALLADS"
so i would answer, yes she did release one..

I think she pretty much wanted to release it. =/ Never really heard anything negative about it.

BTW... last week I received my copy of A Ballads! I'm so happy! (and Memorial Address too ^.^).

I think the question was something like "Considering how upset Ayu was about the forced release of A-BEST in 2001, was the release of A-BALLADS something that was forced upon her and if so, did it upset her as much". I imagine the poster has read Masa's articles about the A-BEST affair.

I think Ayu was probably ok about A-BALLADS. But she probably would rather have released RAINBOW as a single and clearly wanted to add additional value to A-BALLADS by re-recording several songs and even including a new one. But because A-BALLADS was not really a Best-Of album in the strictest sense, she didn't feel so worried about it and perhaps she was reassured by the fact that that A-BEST didn't mark the end of her career, as was one of her irrational fears for its release, she was more confident about her own career. But the main reason is probably because it wasn't really a major Best-Of.

i want some new material and i want she earn more money :D

I don't think you understood the question correctly.

I don't think Avex or Ayu expected or tried to make A-BALLADS as big as A-BEST.
