Question about mp3 players...

I'm currently looking at the super fawesome Zen V plus and it looks hot :)

But I'm not sure which GB to go,

I wanted to go for the 8GB....but now i'm not so sure if i'm even going to USE that much space....

I've got a lot of songs i want toi put on there i think :).....

i'd put all of ayu's CDs on there minus a few songs i can't stand and stuff...and i'm looking at my folder w/ all my jp music(except BoA, Kumi, Namie, Hikki, and Ayu) and it's 5gb >< (most of my files are 192kbs-320kbs because i'm a quality freak....I might re-rip from the CDs that i have into wma)

So now I'm not sure WHAT's gonig to happen

Can anyone tell me like...what all you guys have on your mp3 palyers and what size? =\ iunno what other questions there are to be asked ><

I have a 60 gig ipod... it's got like 28 gigs of music on it, but i like having the large space for movies....

I just like having a lot of space x.o

i have 30 gigs in my collection but i really only need 4 to 2 gb to carry around with me to be honest.

I have an ipod mini and im thinking about buying a sansa or samsung z5/t9. check those out maybe?? the craftsmanship for the v plus's look kinda shoddy..O.o.

get the 8gb, you get put videos too and they take up more space

mine's a Creative Zen V 2GB version (its tiny ><) i just put the songs that i listen to most often... i think i can fit in about 29 albums' worth of songs

if u like a small, compact and light mp3 player, its a rather good candidate especially with its relatively big screen (compared to the ipod nano) but the joystick can be a bit of a hassle when selecting the next track cos u gotta use some strength (i'd have preferred a button)

i have a 30G ipod and it's running out of space - i have about 4000 songs on it and i prefer HQ songs to the 128kbs

i'm planning on getting the 80Gig ipod soon -- because i like the idea of having all my music on the one device (plus mine is the ipod "photo" and i want one that plays videos :D )

thanks guys :3

i decided to go with the 8gig :D! but..i got a zen microphoto instead...cuz my mom didn't like how small the zen V was >>;

I'm excited...but i don't like how all my music tags are STILL being dumb...i took everyone's advice for id taggers....but the one i used didn't retain them for too long..and they went back to reguler >:[...hopefully creative's id tagger ins't like that :)

I'd honestly buy a mp3 player based on battery life (If i had actually thought about it before buying mine). I made this horrible mistake of buying a stupid 30GB video iPOD. After listening to one album (average 13-15 songs) half of the battery is already consumed. It's beyond ridiculous. You have to recharge the thing over and over and over. You spend more time recharging that crap than listening to songs.

^Yeah, I've noticed the louder you listen to it, the more battery is used. And If you watch videos. But its cool with me, cause my speakers charge the battery as I listen to music, so its all good. :)

i have the 4 gb ipod mini, and honestly i cant use all that space!

Get as much space as possible which offers a good battery life (around 20 hours if possible). I went with iPods, however, I have read that they have pretty crappy audio quality (though I havnt noticed a difference between my 60gb iPod and my friends Zen Micro).

I find that having the space for all my music is quite a plus, occasionally I hear a song which I used to like years ago, then I go through my iPod to listen to it, it's great xD

Its always good to have lots of free space - just incase
