Which MP3 player???
 

I put up this thrread a weeks ago but there was that one crash where some posts dissapeared but i havent bothered with it since so here it is now =P.

i've been deciding for a while which mp3 player to get!! cost/capacity really isnt the issue, what i'm really worried about it durability, ease of use, features and overall ..'cool-ness'.

I have an ipod, and i love it! great design, easy to use, and very cool :D

I don't know much about the others, but I have an original 20gb iPod, which is the best, in my opinion.

It gets the job done.

I would'nt get the Ipod nano, the screens are way to fragile. Mine broke after only three months and Ipod refuses to refund it, same as the shop I got it from. Check about it on google and you'll see alot of complaints about that. I can't believe they don't cover it in the warranty.

Also the nano scratches incerdibly easily, you would always have to keep it in a case and do your best to never take it out. Just putting the damn thing on a table scratches it.

If you want an Ipopd you should get any except the nano, imho.

ipods are cool and all.
Everyone's got one, you canget in cool colors, (green! pink!), the amount of space on them is unbelievable. (do you know what version you're thinking of?)
but they're easily breakable and easily scratchable. Its very possible to loose all your files. (careful, careful!) and its easy to freeze. Besides some glitches, I'd go with the ipod. *because that's what I've got*
I don't know about that sandisk, but it looks pretty hot.

so did i! that way if i drop it, it bounces back (well kinda... ;) ) I got mine veeery cheap from the markets

EDIT: and seriously, buy extended warranty! i've always done it with any electronic item of high value, because i swear they are made to fall apart just after their warranty runs out. for $100 or so, i have peace of mind with my 30G ipod... or at least i did have peace of mind until i started to run out of space :D

I have one and I love it very much. With mass storage and fancy design. Also, it has a user friendly interface which is easy to use.

I have both iPod (*2 GB*) & MP4 Player (*1 GB*)
Both are good...but I should put more attention for my MP4 because it is more fragile than iPod...
