translation and summary:
This is gonna be ayu's first cm broadcast outside of japan and for a non-jpn company. She is now the spokeperson for a drink in china, called the 5th season (itz kinda a health energy drink).

Ayu is very concerned about the quality of this cm as it would be her first outside of japan, and spent over 4 hours on make-up and clothes she get changed for a shot. The cost of her clothes and make-up is over 6million yen. Ayu designed her own clothing for the cm, a white dress. She also has input in the cm from the plot to even the slightest facial expression. The cm was shot in tokyo and last only for a minute. The cm would be broadcasted in all of China in May and "Real Me" would be the song used. She also selected this song as the song of the cm herself.

i think she might use chinese or english 'cus she actually spoke some chinese mandarin & english during the conert in beijing, she said "Da ja hao, wo shi bin qi bu" which means "hello everybody, i'm hamasaki ayumi!" then she used english and said "please listen to my song", and of course "thank you"

Excellent information !! I don't think it's really necessary for Ayu to talk in her CMs, its been done, but she can do without talking. Can't wait to see it !!

That's really cool! I saw Ayu on the bottles of "5th Season" (weird name for a drink) at eBay...she looks really cool. I can't wait to see which language she'll speak in the CM, if she does at all. And 6 million yen for the clothes and make-up!! That's insane..It's about 51 thousand US dollars. She must really be a perfectionist.. but that's why she's so great :)

it was on the chinese newspaper today so i did a translation of it too at ayu-mi-x forum...There are some more details about it too but i'm too lazy to put it here...sorry...

5th Season Drink...
 

eh just some stuff i fpund on some commercial shes making... about a drink called 5th season i think....

In this upcoming 5th season CM, Ayu directs her own CM, designs her own clothes and used her own music, Real me, as background music. Not only that, she requested to film the CM at Tokyo's ANON studio.

Rumours have it that she took 1 hour to change one outfit, 3 hours to change her makeup for the next scene, and 6 million Japanese Yen for her 3 different outfits for the CM! Even though the CM is only a minute or so, it cost several millions of China Yuan Renminbi (China currency)! : blink:

When Ayu was asked why she wanted to be the spokeswoman for Kanebo's "5th season" drink, she replied that, "5th season" conveys a message about breaking through the convention, keeping up with the times, satisfying the consumers' wants at the same time. It's the exact message Ayu wanted to convey through her songs and lyrics.

Before the TVC shooting: The crews got a professional model to pose for the three different photo shoots, taking down hundreds of photographs before deciding on the three final outlooks for Ayu.

Background music: Ayu also chose "Real me" as the background music for the CM, as she felt that "Real me" best conveys "5th season" message.

Backstage crews: The CM's backstage crews (more than 40 people!) are mostly people who've been working with Ayu for some time. The director was also the one who directed Ayu's PV, Real me, while the producer was someone who produces quite a number of international works.

6 million Japanese yen's wardrobe: What's in her wardrobe? 200+ pairs of shoes, 70 sets of clothes, 30 sets of jewelleries and the 3 main sets of costumes for the CM shootout.

ANON studio: The cost of shooting the CM in Tokyo's top studio is almost the same as the cost of shooting a blockbuster movie!
