"All Produced by ayumi hamasaki"

I thought this was really "touching" for some reason. In stead of "Visualized" they changed it to "All Produced" which I think says a whole lot more, don't you? It shows that Ayu really does have a lot of control now in her career. I don't know how to describe it in words but when I saw that it sent some sort of chill down my body, like to the point where you want to cry because you're so happy, you know? I'm just so proud of Ayu. She deserves to get full recognition for her accomplishments!

I was like "about time" when I saw that at the end of the concert. Ayu is a madwoman! Her reasoning was for "if something goes wrong, I want to be responsible for it" and she didn't like to confront people if they did something wrong.

So much pressure...

Key ~eternal tie~ 11th March 2007 07:52 PM

Yeah, I know what you mean... I'm so proud of Ayu too. In the documentary, you can see how hard working she is. Thank god she's recognised for it in her concert DVDs now.

minkAYuko 11th March 2007 09:43 PM

yes I.m proud of her to... all the she has accomplished.. it.s a good role model to follow! maybe we all can accomplished our dreams.

Namie 11th March 2007 09:57 PM

me too <3 Ayu really works hard. want to be just like her. anyway did ayu produced every little thing? did she evan came up with the dance? is she a choreografer now? she do design the stage costume also right? man....she's a super woman :)

truehappiness 12th March 2007 01:53 AM

Choreography is not done by Ayu.

But most stage-related / visual-related things like lighting, interlude-videos, and costuming are throughly examined by her before becoming "final."

pop909 12th March 2007 04:09 AM

Choreography is Peco..am i right?

AyuGAME 12th March 2007 02:59 PM

can someone give the caps, of the part that they say "all produced by ayumi hamasaki" ?

Dustie 12th March 2007 04:14 PM

I don't think she did anything close to actually producing the show. She doesn't have time to do that, not to mention she doesn't have the skills/training. If you're a producer, you basically do things such as you manage the money, you hire people (like personally, like you're a boss), you organise things in the schedule so that everything you have ordered (sets, lighting, costumes etc.) is planned/manufactured/booked on time, you talk to sponsors, organisers, you negotiate if something's not right, if something doesn't fit the schedule...
I bet she just does meetings, like it was shown multiple times, and tells what her ideas are to people, who then go off to make calls/meetings/etc. to hire staff/workers/performers, order all the things they need for the show, arrange the schedule...

I think "visualised" is way better to call it, although it's not just her who visualises the whole thing (after all she's not the only person/thing in the venue to perform/be there), rather than "produced" which is a pretty specific term... I bet Matsuura is the one who can be called the producer, while Ayu should simply be credited with Creative Direction.

As for choreography, both Peco and Chiharu+Etsu (TRF) do moves for the show.

If you actually agreed that max should be the producer than ayu is indeed the producer as max once said that ayu had done far more than him on the production side. And he would credit her as the producer. Finally he marked his words.

Even though ayu is queenbee of the whole "ayumi hamasaki" manufacturing, I doubt she would not be handed the title of "all produced" unless she deserved it. They might be using "produced" in this sense from Dictionary.com:
"to bring into existence by intellectual or creative ability: to produce a great painting."

and not in this sense: "Finance. to cause to accrue: stocks producing unexpected dividends." and "To supervise and finance the making and public presentation of: produce a stage play; produce a videotape." which seems to be Max's job. His supervising is probably only limited to costs, because he puts so much faith in ayu, I would assume.

This term: "to bring (a play, movie, opera, etc.) before the public." is both shared by Max and ayu I think, because without ayu's motivation and drive, Max would have nothing to bring to the public.

Ultimately, I think that term is recognizing the hours of work ayu has put into the production of the concert. If you watched the Documentary, you would notice that she would go right into rehearsals after photoshoots, etc. because her outfits would be the same as in the magazines. To be producing something doesn't mean you only "manage" something (phonecalls, hiring, setting up stuff). By re-watching the CNN interview, pay close attention to when ayu discusses the concerts and what goes into it and how her role has changed over the years, when creating them. She does not simply "visualize" (where she judges the aesthetics of the set, colors, and makes designs for costumes) she is the creative mind behind the whole thing.

That's like saying a big movie maker isn't really "all producer" of the movie, because he didn't manage time, money, and people because his hands were full. Without that core person with the visions, direction, and inspiration, there is nothing there to be produced. So I think don't take "all produced" in the "all managed" sense.

Chandrachan 14th March 2007 01:05 AM

Ayu does put alot of effort and watching the documentary made me respect her more she deserved the "all produced by" since Ayu worked so hard and had a lot of says in the production

Zeke. 14th March 2007 01:56 AM

You can see in this photo that Ayu designs her own outfits:

In the first photo she is sketching the design out [STEP you/Ladies Night]

HiruNoKaze 15th March 2007 04:19 AM

This really makes you realize how much you respect her, ne? I finally started watching AT02 and it shows a lot of behind the scenes stuff in unison with the concert. She's been living such a busy life for such a long time...no doubt at all she's having the time of her life :).

Ayumiko 15th March 2007 08:44 AM

Its not like max managed everything with whatever he produced.
