Untaggable mp3? o_O
I recently downloaded ONE PIECE SUPER BEST album from iijpop.com, and I noticed that whenever I changed the ID3 Tags on iTunes, they will revert back to their previous state. I can't even attach the album cover.
Is there anyone who is having the same problem? With other music maybe? And is there any solution to this? |
This happens to me all the time with a huge chunk of my library and it drives me crazy! It's good to know I'm not the only one suffering from this because I am constantly retagging things. Somebody please help us!

Yeah, this happened to me also with Remioromen ~ Konayuki, I had to download the mp3 one more time xD
Even Last couldn't count it as a listen xDD If I'm not wrong, the file was a .MP3, not a .mp3 [Caps] |
Using a proper mp3 tagging program, instead of a media player, should give you a lot less problems. I don't know what might be causing the errors, I never used iTunes and never experienced the same kind of problem with Winamp.
"mp3tag" is a very nice program for working with the tags of your music files in. |
this usually happens to me when downloading iijpop.com stuff
Select all the mp3's, right click them, press propertys and make sure Read Only is unticked |

It still doesn't work. Oh well. I'll get that mp3tag program then. immel, is that a freeware? And can that program handle Kanji/Kana tags?
|
Yes, I write unicode tags with that program and yes, I think it's freeware unless I downloaded it with some crack long time ago.

This happen to me once, DLing stuff from there... and what I did was I converted them again to mp3.
lol |
Thanks immel. :D
And minkAYuko, I'll try that too if the program doesn't work. Thanks :D |
If you convert it to mp3 again you'll lose an unhealthy amount of sound quality, though.
