J-pop in NHK
 

I recently noticed that I can get the NHK channel on my TV. So I was wondering if there are music shows in NHK and which they are :)

I think it has the kouhaku and pop jam (the show ended I think) and there's j-melo

I think the replacement for POP JAM is called Music Japan.

Too bad :( I loved Popjam performances. But I think that Kouhaku is one time a year right? When is it?

Btw what is NHK channel about? I mean that what they broadcast when they are not doing music shows?

I've recently found out about the global NHK, though i can't get it here >< but anyway here's the site for it...

It should tell you everything that's on etc... looks pretty good and quite a few shows are in english

Not being able to get it in the UK defeats the whole "Global" purpose.

^ It may be possible to get it in the UK... but not through cable which i have... hence me not being able to get it :shrug
