do ayu and her mother get along now?
 

in the CNN interview she did a while ago (in english and japanese)
she said that her mother is a role model she looks up to, bc she is very hard working.

do they get along now? i did not really hear anything positive about her mother until that day...



on a side note, i really wonder what her father thinks about ayu...whereever he is...

Her mother was basically one of the few family members she ever mentions. She very respectfully and adoringly mentions her mom in interviews. She has mentioned her mom at least a few times in the past 12 months and I can recall her talking about her mother early in her career as well.

She seems to be on good terms with her Mother now, but early in her career she didn't seem to have such a nice view of the relationship.

Wouldn't you want to be on good terms with her? XD

Seemed to me she was pretty neutral regarding her mom early on, I never got the vibe that they didn't get along. Her mother's parenting skills seemed to be in question but it isn't like Ayu wasn't a bit of a rebel herself.

This all just goes to show that nobody's perfect, not even Ayu. :)

I'm not sure if her mom is her only family member around... In all her album booklets she thanks her "family"... if that was only her mom wouldn't she just thank her mom instead of "family" ?
