Number Of Tracks Between Studio Albums
 

Well I just payed attenstion to that since ayu's debut album A Song for xx, the number of tracks are going up, down, up, down, up, down in ayu's original albums (includes hidden songs)!

A Song for xx- 16 Tracks
LOVEppears - 17 Tracks - went up
Duty - 12 Tracks - went down
I am... - 16 Tracks - went up
RAINBOW - 16 - same
MY STORY - 17 - went up
(miss)understood -16 went down
Secret - 14 - went down - But needed to be a MINI-Album

Though except for I am....=RAINBOW that has the same amount and (miss)understood + Secret that got down and down by numberr of tracks.

It makes me wonder if ayu's next album will have 15/16 (maybe 17 again?) tracks on it or if it will have 14 again like Secret ? I don't think the tracks number will go down again (and hope not).

What do you think?

I'm kinda worried that she's going to try a mini-album again because Secret wasn't that great of a seller as a full length album so i don't even wanna think about what it would have done as a mini. But who knows?

i really like long albums...but it doesnt really matter to me...and the number of tracks have nothing to do with sales...Duty is her highest selling original album, and it only had 12 tracks..i really hope she doesn't do a mini album...thats the last thing she needs to release...

yeah, for some weird reason i wanted "Secret" to be a mini-album.

Um. I don't think there's meant to be a pattern, I just think Ayu makes a certain amount of songs and chooses the ones she wants to be on the album

EXACTLY, half of the songs on Secret I don't even listen to, the ones I do like would have been the ones on the album if it were a mini, seriously, quantity doesn't matter to me.

i think it will be a mini-album this year since the plan wasnt used last yr.. if it will be a mini-album, i would rather ayu release jus one single so that we can have more new stuff on the album.. :D

but of cos, i hope that it will be a full album.. :)

quality obviously..
i realise that some songs that are just there as 'fillers' never get performed live anyway.
eg. Liar in MY STORY

I would say.....a mini album of 7-8 tracks or a full album of 12-13 tracks.

As long as there's a nice amount of new material (which might happen because it doesn't seem like she's releasing as rapidly), I'm happy. :D

I would also like a long album (16-17 tracks) or more bonus tracks aand a Hidden Track such as flower garden or kanariya...

The most surprising thing ever will be if ayu's next album will be a double studio album! Which mean 2CD+DVD, would be hot!!!!!

But go figure...

Hahaha, I felt the same. But I'm kind of glad in the end it turned out to be a full album, the newer tracks really got me hooked on that album.
