皆にものすごく心配かけちゃってるみたいなので
一言だけ、言いに来たよ。

あのね、私達は恋人同士という枠を取っ払った事によって、
以前にも増して、深い絆で繋がれている関係になれ たの。
それはね、本当に素晴らしい事だと思うの。

愛には色んな形がある。
ひとつとして同じものはない。
私達の愛の形はこれなんだよね。

とても前向きな決断だと受け取ってもらえると嬉しいよ。

Whoa, she sounds almost a little annoyed. Poor thing!

While I secretly hope Ayu is going lipstick les, I really do wish her the best. Strong relationships is her position are so difficult to nurture, and going about these relationships the way your heart wants to is near-impossible with her crushing level of responsibility and duty. This is the most human we have seen Ayu in years. It is sad to see that this is the circumstance under which that humanity comes, especially after seeing the most positive, lovey-dovey Ayu music of her career crammed into the past few years. "HONEY" feels like a sad song to listen to now.

Awwww! So she doesn't want her fans to be worried about her then? So that means she really must be okay. Well that makes me feel good to know!

Well, if there's one thing we've learned from Ayu's lyrics up to now, it's that she says she's okay when she really isn't, and that it's not her nature to be comfortable relying on people.

I feel so ***** saying this, because I never give a rat's behind about celebrity gossip, and I hate when people talk about celebrities as if they know them. But I am actually concerned about her. I actually feel kind of hurt for her. Ending a 7 year romantic relationship the terms that Ayu seems to describe, in my immediate impression, only means one thing: two people love eachother, but circumstances won't allow them to live out their love the way their hearts want. It's like finding the love of your life, but at the completely wrong time. Letting that go is more hard than most know.

A plausible speculation might be that Ayu isn't ready to grow up and settle down (as we've heard her describe her personality and way of life in past interviews and lyrics), and maybe he was tired of waiting for her. By keeping their relationship on such close-knit terms, they are keeping the doors open for tomorrow.

I guess she just wants to move on. As fans, yup, I think we're just worried more for Ayu. It's saddening, BUT I guess it's her personal choice. And if she's ok with it, I think I'm ok with it as well.

Well yeah, but like someone else said, she almost sounds annoyed that so many people are so worried about her... I would be kinda annoyed if people were worried about me when there was no reason to be worried because I was okay.

I agree with your speculation though on why the relationship ended. I specifically call to mind her CNN interview where she stated that she never wanted to grow up and gain tons of responsibilities of adulthood. :)

So I guess we should have seen this coming...
Well I'm glad that Ayu is taking this very well.

That's one way to see it, but I kind of took it as Ayu saying that because they had been together for so long, their relationship had become more of like a family kind of love, more so than a deep passion. They are splitting on good terms and will continue to see each other. That says to me that their relationship had become more like that of friends than of lovers. It seems like it may have been like this for a while and they only now decided to officially call it quits.

If she's happy, we should be happy for her too! Go Ayu!

I think she only sounds like she's taking this well because she doesn't want her fans to be extremely worried about her. After all, she is a mature woman and if she just breaks down crying, everyone in Japan would worry about her. This piece of news is already causing many around her to concern over her well-being and obviously she doesn't like that. I think those who are concerned should pretend like everything is fine. It would definitely make her feel better and for her pains to heal faster.

True! I haven't listened to it, but I thought about the songs dedicated to Nagase and it feels so sad. Songs like "CAROLS", "HONEY", "JEWEL"...
All her songs about him show that she took the relationship seriously. Therefore it's not fair towards ayu (and Nagase) to say "Finally, he sucked" or "Good thing, he was ugly anyway".
