After speculation, once again, about the future of her career, Onitsuka Chihiro has finally announced a new single. The single, which is still untitled, will be out September 19 and will be the lead in for Chihiro’s fourth original album and her first with Universal Music.

For most of her career, Chihiro was signed with Toshiba EMI but was later let go, or left as some sources say. This was due to many factors such as copyright distribution, the company releasing things against Chihiro’s will and basically poor health and depression due to the heavy work load. After little news for over three years, Chihiro finally returned with the single everyhome at the end of May this year.

But her career was once again in limbo…or so we thought. Many fans thought she may have changed her mind and backed out of the limelight but she seems to be taking thing at a slower pace and this single proves she is still trying hard and will continue to impress her fans for years to come.

The new single is Bokura barairo no hibi.
The tentative release date for this single is 19 September 2007. It is composed by Onitsuka Chihiro. Kobayashi Takeshi is the arranger and producer. This is the second song which Kobayashi has produced. The release was announced 2 August 2007 on Onitsuka's official site.

i kinda thought at first the cover looked like some graphic "Cloud_Honey" made. :laugh (that is good thing, btw) cuz of the coloring and that design thingy.

Anyway, I'm kind of excited for this, since I got everyhome and I find it to be amazing. Actually, no, I don't find the song to be amazing since I haven't gotten past the intro. :D But the intro is just... OMG.

The cover is lovely, can't wait to hear her new songs.
