Thanks for that. I saw the 5th track on barks .jp but the kana wouldn't translate.

I hope the cover's good. A bit more inspired than her usual ballad singles.

thanks for the info.

Hm... Something no Uta again? Wtf Kumi!
I hope that will be a nice ballad. I'm tired of stupid Kuu winter songs. The surprise is this one, Koda? I'm so over this release.

IDEM IDEM IDEM

I hope it'll be a nice enough ballad, though I prefer her faster/more upbeat songs.

namiie 29th July 2007 09:21 PM

Wow, how typical. "Ai no Uta" is such an original title. :rolleyes

I usually like KK's upbeat songs more than her ballads, but hopefully this one will be a little different from her previous ballads.

AyuHamasaki01 29th July 2007 09:32 PM

I guess she lost her muse or something:

Ai no Uta / Yume no Uta

Come (Namie Amuro) + Over (Ayumi Hamasaki) = Come over

Weslicious 29th July 2007 09:33 PM

^^^If you look at it that way then no song is original.

cloud♥honey 29th July 2007 09:35 PM

I really think that Kuu isn't too creative and original.

Christina Aguilera (Stripped Song) = Make Over + Come (for Namie)
Yay, so original.

Rurutia 30th July 2007 12:56 AM

yea, i dont think kuu is that orginal either, last year she started off good but since then,......she's gone down hill.

hmm..perhaps she'll move out of the spotlight

marty518 30th July 2007 01:35 AM

They'll do anything to keep releasing singles!
They're going to exploit her popularity as much as humanly possible.

I bet you anything they'll do another 12 week single thing before her fame disappears. Except this time it will be one single EVERY DAY for 12 weeks.. then release it all again on a BEST album haha.

ayu_fan929 30th July 2007 03:11 AM

She's not even releasing singles THAT fast...

Mercedes 30th July 2007 03:19 AM

I don't think she's releasing too quickly. The whole song title debate is kinda ridiculous (in terms of the b-side). Because there must be no other reason than that she copied some one else, and not because the words are rather common.:rolleyes

Hopefully the song will be pretty good. I thought Aishou was beautiful and different from most of her ballads.

drahcirpiy 30th July 2007 03:47 AM

well...this yr she's sorta slowed down a bit i guess but if u thikn bout FREAKY it's pretty much the same as a 4 A-side...which = 4 singles? lol it's still somewat quicker than avg releases i guess...as for the single title..yah...a bit too "un-original" XD

JesA 30th July 2007 04:31 AM

way to make an interesting title, Kuu....first BoA reusing a song title, now the title that there's about 20 more of...ahh well i was hoping for a ballad this time, cuz i got kinda an upbeat overdose with FREAKY

Beauty4123 30th July 2007 04:39 AM

alot of artists have the same song titles. that dosen't mean they're "unoriginal". song titles are very common these days, so you can't really be surprised that some artists actually have the same titles. it can't be helped, people. that's just how it is. plus, we also can't jude the song by it's title. when we actually hear the song, then we can all see if it's good or not. but right now, there's not even a preview, so..let's just wait and see, okay?

Hmm, I beg to differ. In 2006 she released twelve singles (sixteen if you count all of the 12 weeks singles). This year is not so bad I admit...she'll probably hit four single releases by the end of the year and that's okay, but she also released another BEST album at the beginning of 2007 (which IMO was unneeded considering how soon it was after her other two BEST albums). The thing I noticed is that the more she releases, the more generic her later releases are. I don't know who's in charge of her promotion stuff but they must be thinking quantity > quality or something.

I'm confused here. Usually a lot of people having the same thing drags down the uniqueness of that thing...so when you say, "that doesn't mean they're unoriginal", you must mean the SONG itself right? Not the title? Because the title is as unoriginal as they come; the song, it's too early to tell. I believe most people were commenting on the title. :P

Yeah, and that's just how it is, but that doesn't mean it can't be helped. No one forces anyone to have this title or that. I think it's a stretch to shrug off the title "Come Over" by saying it's a snip of Namie's song and Ayu's song or Xtina's or whatever, but you have to admit that "Ai no Uta" is a common title--in that same format, no addition or subtraction needed. But yeah, I'm going to wait and see too. Based on KK trends for the past year or two, I'm estimating a typical ballad release, but I guess we will see. :hat

I stopped being a big KK fan after the "Secret" era so I'm rather critical of her work...for the past two years, I'd say she's either been hit or miss.

i guess i meant the title. i mean, artists can't always have a one of a kind song title, you know? they're bound to over use titles and stuff. and i know people were commenting on the title. i just kinda think we're all just repeating ourselves saying the same thing, that's its "unoriginal" and all. i'd rather wait for the song to hear it and everything.

sorry if you didn't understand my post too good. i'm just kinda annoyed with a million comments saying the same thing about the title. :P

Good points :D I guess it's the same as many artists having songs with the title, "Because of You" or something XD
