Utada Hikaru - "Beautiful World" PV Preview
 

Hikki's official website now has a preview of Beautiful World (1:49). Since the song is the theme song of EVANGELION, it's no surprise that the PV is a montage of clips from the movie. They also have html encoding for the videos that allows you to post the videos on a blog.

Yeah it's alright. I don't mind a montage of clips, but it would be more interesting to see Hikki herself :)

Ermmm...isn't that just like an AMV to 'Beautiful World'...? I mean yeah I know Beautiful World is going to an anime but I mean, is that really all her PV is gonna feature? Its and bits from the anime??? Poor Uta >.<
Someone needs to help her with her PVs!!!!

I liked it alot better than Kiss&Cry... (since the character's weren't mouthing the lyrics..That got annoying.)But I wish she made her own PV instead. I know she's a busy woman and all, but I feel like she's being a little lazy with this single's PV.

Awww, I got all excited thinking she'd actually be IN it or something. Animated PVs are boring to me. :/

^ I think it's neat that Hikki isn't in it. She's distancing herself even further from the common J-artists who promotes anime. Like many have said and to which I agree with, it's all about Eva not just Hikki. So don't let the AMV's post judgement on Hikki. Just be patient...she'll have a "real" PV soon.

Utada's about the music, of course.

Plus, it's hard to replace Kaz...he made some great videos...
