In the early 1990s, Imbruglia was known to audiences as Beth Willis in the popular Australian soap Neighbours (also responsible for launching pop singer Kylie Minogue). Two years after leaving the program, she launched a highly successful singing career with the international hit, "Torn". The subsequent debut album Left of the Middle (1998) sold 6 million copies worldwide. While following releases White Lilies Island (2001) and Counting Down the Days (2005) have been unable to match the commercial success of her debut, the latter became her first UK #1, and all are critically acclaimed. To date she has sold more than 9 million albums around the world.


On June 23rd it was announced that Natalie would release a singles collection titled Glorious: The Singles 1997-2007 on September 10th. The album will feature five new tracks including: "Glorious", and "Be With You", former of which will be released on 27th August 2007.

I love Natalie, My favourite song is Big Mistake closely followed by Torn but i'm not really liking her current single Glorious, it's so lacklustre.

It's about time someone made a thread for her. I totally forgot that she was releasing a "best-of" album. I really hope she comes out with that planned new album soon too. However, she has already made a number of amazing songs in her career.

Overall I love it all, the only thing I would change is that addition of "Satellite", making it a perfect 15 track album.

Ok so when I was younger I used to be SO IN LOVE with her "Left of the Middle" CD. I would play it day and night. D: "Smoke" was my favorite song...there's something really otherworldly about her. The last song I've heard from her that I've liked is "Wrong Impression"...I'm glad she's releasing stuff again.

I thought I was the only one who realized... hmm, I wonder if Dannii is show off her tits on X factor like she was on Australia's got talent, lol, I know, totally random.

Natalie's next studio album is gonna be great, especially cause Daniel Johns is working on it... so we can expect rock, woohoo.

I love Natalie Imbruglia :) I was a big fan during her first two albums, but since the third I've sort of strayed and I don't know it that well. The tracklist for the best of sounds great :)

Hey is she still married to Daniel Johns? Now THAT is one wierd marriage... I used to love silverchair :)

I like only Big Mistake + I know Torn since these two songs were displayed in europe like... 10 years ago? She wasn't popular here at all but Big Mistake was a very good song, still got it somewhere :]

I am not so keen on the new album "Come to Life". it's too rock for me. i really miss the time when she does easy listening ballads like the :counting down the days: album.
