Yeah thanks for the info....GO HIKKI!
yeh, thats the only good thing i suppose ^^
i dont think it's fair that it's mtv japan, and most of the artists aren't japanese XP i dont think it's fair competition :/ congrats to hikki :)
Thnx for the info... Congrats to Hikki:wave n hope that ayu will gambatte n win next year.. kinda sad to see the result
well i'm happy for hikki she didnt let j-lo or the other take that awards ... happy for her
How sad that Ayu didn't win anything... I wonder if it has anything to do with her few CDs lately, but whatever the reason, let's hope that she'll get back on top somehow and once again become the #1 JPN singer ;)
you know not always people take the award
go hikki...and ayu had tried her best....
I'm happy for Hikki and for Ayu. At least both of them got onto the nominee list, not like those other artists that we hear constantly everyday. I think Ayu deserved the best video award than that UK group, Blue. I'm not trying to offend people who like Blue here, but MTV Japan is supposted to be a Japan award ceremony, not overseas artists. I know the fans vote for nominees, but this is just not.. right for some reason. -_-
I think if some of the Japanese fans came to America and asked some teens about Avril, they'd probably hear,"Avril's a poser!" or "Avril sucks!" ._. How the heck do American music get over to Japan anyway? :hmmm The question that I have most in mind is, were the American winners there to get the award, or were they pre-tapped and shown at the video music awards? :curse Oh yeah, I feel anger here, lots of it. And I know that MTV is an American TV program, but this is just ridiclous. I mean, Bon Jovi is a nominee?!?! He's good and stuff, but I can't see young people listening to his music. I'm scared to go to Japan in the future, to see that American music has taken over the scene.. and no more Ayu domination in Japan :weep :supermad :supermad :supermad :supermad :supermad :supermad :supermad :supermad :supermad :supermad :supermad :supermad :angrygrou :angrygrou :angrygrou :angrygrou :angrygrou :gun :gun :gun |
hmm yuki, im on ur side but people could easily say that to the non japanese/asian people in this forum..
they could say the reverse of wot you said, " how the hell did japanese music get to england :curse " or something like that, i just thinking from their perspective, and its not a biggie anyways.. |
Ayu is still doing just fine in Japan even with western competition. She's still selling tons and doing well. So I really wouldn't worry about it.
Plus, so what if Japanese people like western music? Is there something wrong with it? That's just like saying people in the west shouldn't listen to Japanese music. I wouldn't worry, 'cause it's ok. Ayu can still be the J-pop queen. :D |
hmm.. i think MTVAA SG is better, at least the nominees are grouped according to their respective country in Asia and English Songs internationally.
Personally, I would prefer it that way,...... the 'language' way |
aww! it's too bad that ayu didn't get an award. but go Hikki!
thanx fur da info congratz to hikki
da judges prolli didnt know how to judge... IT WUX A MISTAKE !!! well at least Ayu has won in our hearts and dats all it matters. |
Yuki - MTV is an American company. It's basically a huge company bent on cultural imperialism. Check out any of the overseas MTV sites, they ALL feature American artists. I'd be more suprised that Japanese artists got nominated at all. You wouldn't complain about a McDonald's in Japan not serving authentic Japanese food, this is the same situation.
