You like quite a few good ones. If you like Steps and the Spice Girls, then I definitely recommend Girls Aloud and S Club 7. Girls Aloud are I guess the closest you could get to being like the Spice Girls, all the while being completely different. And S Club 7 was a very poppy group with some absolutely fantastic songs. Considering you listed a lot of my favorites, here are some of my favorites that you didn't list:

I second the Paramore recommendation. I'm seriously in love with Misery Business. I have Riot! on my computer and it's really good. They're definitely punk rock, but a good change as the vocalist is female. I say at least try them out.
