(don't)Leave me alone PV interpretation

C'mon guys! Squeeze your brains and try to give an insight on the deepest ayu video ever!

What could be the meaning of the change of ties? She has a black tie, and every time she has a random encounter with a shiny colored girl, her tie changes to the color of the girl! OMG that has got to have some deep meaning j/k:laugh She even gets two colored ties when she's confronted by the pink+blue girls LOL:no I'm sure there's more subliminal messages on the videos!

AyuGAME 22nd December 2007 03:22 AM

i thought about the PV ending too where she doesn't move but her dancer move..its weird..i believe there is a meaning that ayu want to say to us...but i can't get it

ImpactBreaker 22nd December 2007 03:29 AM

Yeah it's weird LOL
Well, title of the song is (don't) Leave me alone. I believe she's walking all arrogant because she wanna be left alone. Then, along the path, she meets the other girls, but she just wants to avoid them. However, she does actually want to have somebody by her side, reason why each girl "touches her" by changing the color of her tie to their respective color. In the end, she's not alone anymore, but actually formed a gang of badassed attitude girls! :D

This is so deep, I think I'm going to cry :weep

I wanna hear more overinterpretations please! :laugh

hiroshi_ben 22nd December 2007 03:47 AM

this video should include more stuffs n scenes for us to interprete what its trying to say!

ayumisrael 22nd December 2007 03:56 AM

OMFG LMAO THE BEST MEANING EVER!!! XDDD I love you ImpactBreaker :love

CHE.R.RY 22nd December 2007 04:07 AM

You know ImpactBreaker...I was thinking around the same lines.TRY TOPPING THAT someone xD!

zoomzoom 22nd December 2007 04:10 AM

Way too cheap and plain to ever get any interpretation out of. If you can get any special deep meaning out of this, then you can get it out of anything. It's like trying to find a meaning in Koda's JUICY :no The title had potential for a real deep meaning, but we're left with this.

Seems like an album filler.

lmao if you put it that way, so (d)lma sure has a meaning =P
ImpactBreaker got a part of it.

Haha I think he squeezed it all out .. nothing left. I just thought a title like that would give a lot more of her usual space of interpretation.

But JUICY was pretty meaningful! j/k She completely seduced the jerks in order to steal from them! That was the purpose of the bottle dancing, and they fell for the trap :laugh:innocent

firstly, i applaud u for making this thread...coz me and ayumisrael had views on this in the other thread...THX FOR THIS! and yur interpretation is nice...

people shud really look beyond the surface like i said...

and lemem quote from me and ayumisrael (hope u dun mind)..

Quote:

to me, its like some passage where she goes thru in life and face changes, challenges, people...(hehe)

I liked the way it sounds, but maybe it's more related to this year, or yeah the whole life..
Sometimes you want to be left alone, sometimes you don't, I think it was a certain evolution, at the start ayu walked alone passing the dancers and she was like **** off! and then she was together with all of them... could mean something and it fits the title, damn the language barrier =P
its better to see it this way at least than to conclude it being utterly crappy...(which i dun think so)..

freedreamer 22nd December 2007 04:43 AM

^yea i think so too...its ok how the others find it...coz i think this PV is different from her others and its unique i guess...VERY subtle...but its obviously something going on with those other women coming and going

(Im glad 3 people share similar views here :D
this album made me see a lot of people with similar views as me...haha...kompre, mizu_akira_ayu and now ayumisrael and ImpactBreaker hehe)

erin1m 22nd December 2007 05:03 AM

I think she's an ice cube, and the blue tunnel is the freezer, and when her tie changes colors, it means she's absorbing the smells from all the food in the freezer.

No really, I think people just get freaked out when ayu makes a sexy video because they don't think a video can be sexy and meaningful. Wrongo. I think ImpactBreaker got it perfectly.

freedreamer 22nd December 2007 05:05 AM

^yea...u go Impact...representing us people, the minority who thinks that this PV has substance...lol

LMAO! hmmm then she was probably walking nearby a coke bottle when she was wearing the first tie ....Or, maybe there was something rotten inside it :laugh

Some people said she's walking "aimlessly", but I highly disagree. I figured the colours represented a certain attribute, like green for envy or money, pink for love, blue for sorrow, and purple is a harmonious blend of love and sorrow (sticking with the obvious). I haven't settled on an absolute theory that makes perfect sense, but notice her reactions to each of the girls. Green "sneaked up" on her when she least expected it, but ayu did not show any form of resistance (well if money is a factor, most tend to submit to the temptation). When pink and blue arrived, she portrayed some resistance. She did not want to manage both, but they lingered with her as contrasting and conflicting attributes. Her makeup also correlates to the idea of love and sorrow; pink for passion as portrayed on the lips, and blue for sorrow as portrayed on the eyes. Later on, she "battles" both love and sorrow and arrives at a harmonious contemplation of the two.

In the end, ayu prevails through all those complicated attributes. They made her a stronger person. Although they will still be an encompassing part of her (as they dance around her one last time), she maintains her dignity as portrayed by black.

Wow this actually sounds pretty cheesy as I re-read this..

WOW. I never thought to think of the colors as representing something. That is so cool!! :D I really like your interpretation! ^_^
