"sending ayu a message" - Thoughts and Comments

Thought I'd make a place where we can discuss the messages to ayu, without messing up the proper thread.

I know I already want to say to the couple who've already posted that their messages are very touching, and I think ayu will be very moved to read them!

If you want to discuss or comment on the messages posted, feel free to do so here!

polka-dot-jewel 4th January 2008 11:10 PM

Is it okay if we discuss how we're going to get this to Ayu as well? Or is this strictly "discuss the messages for Ayu"?

jonneh 4th January 2008 11:13 PM

I started asking this in the other thread, but just realized I was kind of messing it up by doing that. So, my question was, "Just out of curiousity, how do you plan on sending the messages to Ayu?". Maybe I missed something?

Chibi_Venus 4th January 2008 11:14 PM

I thought it was just a thread like, "If you could send a message to Ayu, what would you say?"

:confused

Ohh okay, maybe my mind was taking it too literally. :P

not really my plan, but we were discussing it in the thread in the news section, that we want to send ayu some message of our support, the idea was to get all the messages from each of us, and then give them to a member of AHS in japan, who could then send them all to AYU/Avex....or wherever she might receive them.

exact plans still have to be discussed, but that's the general idea, and in the meantime people can begin to express their feelings and thoughts to ayu.

I wanted to say more, but I can't, words just don't go inside of me.

That sounds awesome if it would work. Do you think Ayu knows enough english or maybe there'd be a translator available or something. These kinds of plans, especially internationally, usually kind of fail, but like I said, if it worked and (she personally, not just avex) were able to read them all, that would be so incredibly amazing. I think she especially would enjoy this, what with all this horrible stuff that's been happening to her lately... :(

jon_the_d 4th January 2008 11:24 PM

I doubt she will read them all, but even just to receive a box full of messages from foreign fans, and for her to scan through briefly and see how many people have written messages of support to her, will surely let her feel our support. That is all I want to achieve.

Just right it from your heart, if she never reads it, it doesn't matter, it's the thought that counts, and she will understand the gesture.

Bad Wolf 4th January 2008 11:33 PM

I think if enough people are interested, this could actually be a really creative and beautiful effort--not that I'm trying to discourage those who don't want to do it! I'm just not sure I'll be of any help, being... well, so far away from Japan :no

polka-dot-jewel 4th January 2008 11:35 PM

Well, I know this one person gave AAA a little scrapbook, filled with messages (either most of them, or all) in Japanese. I know they all sent their messages (hand-written) to this one person, who put the scrapbook together, who then met AAA at a convention.

So, this whole thing IS possible, we'd just have to find a way to give it to Ayu. I'm sure she'd read it...maybe not all at once (or maybe she would?). It's not everyday you receive this big book of messages from your fans from around the world. Of course, this doesn't need to be strictly in Japanese or English - we could get messages from her fans from around the world, and have them write messages in their native languages.

Oh my GOD! InoriNoUta! You message is so, so, so... i don't know the word to discibe it!

FuNsTyLe 4th January 2008 11:38 PM

Just not mention AHS website... Haha, like, Hey Ayu, btw... We have all yor stuff since 1998 availble for free to all out members at www.ahsforum.com ....

zoomzoom 4th January 2008 11:39 PM

The whole problem is in delivering of course. There are a few members on AHS who live in Japan, so if they speak Japanese, they could call aves and enquire about this. It's a long shot, but who knows.

jon_the_d 4th January 2008 11:41 PM

yeah, you posted about that scrap book in the other thread, which is what inspired this whole thing, so thanks for the idea!

but it looks like considering how we're from all over it may be easier to print the messages out(?) and put them in a scrap book. otherwise it'll take too long to get all the messages to whoever is going to make the scrap book.

but handwritten would be cool...

Haha, I didn't post it, but I know it was mentioned in the other thread. =P

Hmmm...yeah, true. I know it doesn't take too long to send letters around the world (now, packages are another story), but I bet if we start making this now, we could really pull this thing off by...April, when her tour starts. Making messages online and printing them out would be a safe, guaranteed way of making this, too.

I know there's a few people who are actually going to Ayu's tour next year (including myself), but I think it would be better to give it to her on her April 8th performance, obviously because it's her official 10th anniversary.

Awe :glomps, thank you duckie. I actually had to curb myself because I can be such a sap, heh...

while handwritten stuff WOULD be nice, it does seem a bit impractical.. unless some people are willing to mail off their messages to a particular point that can then be mailed off to one address (in Japan)? But that just sounds convoluted and messy.. hmm... Either way, I really hope this works out.

I just wish she does as she pleases. I do wish her to chill down a bit and take a break, but no matter what her decision is, I'd like her to know that she has my full support. I love her MUSIC, I love her words, they are all great songs that never bores me even a bit. Whenever I was sad and lose direction, I was always listening to her songs and I found my courage again. She is such a great person with an amazing character and personality. She is my forever Idol of my heart.

Well usually artists have a mailing address at avex. I know Hitomi Shimatani has one so I'm pretty sure someone like Ayu would too...

That will be my problem too. Of course I have a lot to say, but I will summarize a lot. :D
I tried to write a scetch and it felt strange to write it. Hard to explain, but thinking about what to write, about that Ayu could someday read it and recalling made that. :P
