In CDL07-08...

...was it just me or was it more physical, in terms of dancing for ayu? I mean she did a lot more choreography rather than her usual walking around and punch the sky thing.

Anyone else notice this?

Ava 12th January 2008 04:59 PM

i have no idea. i was wondering if there was a CDL 07-08. was it?

She's been doing more dancing since BEST of CDL06-07..

There was more than the usual in AT07 too with pole-dancing and some latinesque swing dancing too.. :O [I think there was some cancan too..]

AyUmIXx 12th January 2008 05:31 PM

yea, right Ayu has been dancing a lot..that's good!
love her Ladies Night dance..

Aisha_Angel 12th January 2008 05:31 PM

O.O...I noticed this as well. I think Ayu's getting better at her dancing. She's still got stiff legs though, but it's all good. At least she's trying to get better.

alternarist 12th January 2008 05:31 PM

i think perhaps since its a CDL, no point using so many props. so she might as well dance to replace all the effects others might have brought. you realise that the stage is pretty itself as it is. Not much special stages that be raised or lowered. So there is nothing much that ayu can be special about. lol

Yukitora 12th January 2008 05:36 PM

Was I the only one who left that Ayu really didn't want to be there? Especially during Ladies Night. You can even see a crazed fan (wearing a white jacket) jumping up and down like the energizer battery over how close she was to ayu, but by the end of the perf she was as lifeless as ayu.

Only towards the end of the (actual) concert, like during evolution, she started to smile naturally... well that's what I thought.

truehappiness 12th January 2008 05:41 PM

Well, regardless of how she feels, I think she still... HAS to perform.

And I think she did. Although some of the songs closer to the end were like "D:!!"~

I don't think it's lifeless, just... emotional. D:

I don't think so. If you look at her expression during STEP you (I'm skipping t2m here since it's a rather serious song) she's very much smiling and being flirty like the dance is. During Ladies' Night I got the same feel. fated/Together When... were both somber, yes, but I've been watching the TW performance again and again (great vocals here), and she's very into the whole thing. And during SURREAL? The way she interacted with the audience when she was on the crane = very much wanted to be there.

During some TV performances or whatever Ayu does get that "Why am I here" look, but during big concerts like CDL? I've never seen that sort of thing from her, ever.

i love her way of dancing...
she practice a lot...i still remember the day when she just can standing in the centre of the stage without doing anything

What??

Anyway, yea she is getting more into the dancing thing, which is fine as long as it doesn't start to compromise the singing.

catur 13th January 2008 01:06 AM

Qt Mashi 13th January 2008 09:30 AM

u aint the only one...in decision she looked really lifeless...didnt move so much...
and her voice (not during singing..) was rather deep...it seemed like she wasnt feeling well...

panda87 14th January 2008 03:24 AM

i agree, she is dancing more than usual in her lives... and MVs heheheheh... which is a great thing. its healthy! but honestly, i don't think she looked like she didn't want to be there. she looks like she was enjoying every moment... ayu is such a compassionate and considerate person... if her fans are happy, as that is one of her greatest concerns, then she would be happy in return and give them what she can with what she has left... like... if not her useless ear... then dancing in replacement. i dunno. she sure was taking her time joking and laughing during the MY ALL dance demonstration, lol... so funny.

LOL. I can't wait to watch the whole thing!

rikku411 14th January 2008 04:04 AM

I agree that she did more dancing and chereography... I liked t2m, Ladies Night n STEP you =]

as to whether or not she seemed like she wanted to be there... hm, I think she did... I felt that the whole concert had a really friendly and lively fibe to it (of course, the serious songs had to tone down), but it just felt so fun.

even though I wasn't there myself, I could feel it.
