the similarity beetween GUILTY n KINGDOM

umm... i dunno but.. why they both use leopard skins theme ? GUILTY in the dress n KINGDOM in the chair n crown.
are they cat lover? lol

LacusClyne 15th January 2008 05:11 AM

coz 'leopard spot' is the 'IN' thing in japan.

sugarbasil 15th January 2008 05:48 AM

Edit: sorry, my post came across as really rude, when that was not the intent at all. I was just confused. :( Really sorry. :(

And I get it now, with the KINGDOM leopard reference. XD Yeah, I'll have to agree that it's just a coincidence. :P

CHE.R.RY 15th January 2008 05:53 AM

I seriously think it's just a coincidence ^^

rikku411 15th January 2008 06:07 AM

I think it's just a coincidence as well. And it did seem like it was the 'in' thing then... Ayu's dress was from a Dolce and Gabbana line after all.

Bad Wolf 15th January 2008 06:46 AM

This post seems rather appropriate considering I was just researching something about Bast.

Cat-print things are... sexy?

REALLY?! i dont know about that

Ayumiko 15th January 2008 07:58 PM

I think its just a coincidence between GUILTY and kingdom...but I think ayu purposely tried to bring back the leopard print from Duty....I dunno...just a feeling..

~X2RADialbomber~ 15th January 2008 10:24 PM

No the leopard spot thing is definitely in.

But I wouldn't make such a comparison between Koda's and Ayu's albums to that such degree. Kingdom to me, just to me,( I'm not saying that this is true), but it's like she's portraying herself as the queen as she is sitting in the throne of her kingdom (aka the music industry). Well that's what I always thought of it to be.. The thing with the leopard spots? I probably have to agree with Ayumiko, it's probably trying to show that she's as good as she was before.

Kikaru 15th January 2008 11:34 PM

Leopard spot is more of a fashion statement than anything else. Ayu's dress is from Dolce and Gabbana, which probably has the most IN fashion thing right now.

And Leopard spots are hardly new. Check Duty, for instance, and many many other artists.

elepop 15th January 2008 11:40 PM

LOL. Such a random thing to compare. I didn't even realized that the chair has a leopard print.

truehappiness 15th January 2008 11:53 PM

Well, if anything blame D&G for having a leopardskin print collection XD

catur 16th January 2008 12:46 AM

hehe... and how about their hairs?? they both have short hair. XD
is that kind of trends too?

hiroshi_ben 16th January 2008 02:26 AM

i dun really think its the "IN" thing in japan now...more like interests and likings of certain people in japan~

i just think it's a fashion thing.

Chibi_Venus 16th January 2008 04:14 AM

D&G? That's the brand of my new glasses! :bchuck

Anyway, interesting spot. (... No pun intended.) I really love how GUILTY is almost a reminiscent (is that correct wording?) album to Duty. The songs, the covers, even (one of) the composers! ^^

RpgN12 16th January 2008 08:39 AM

And the point of the thread? Honestly I haven't noticed it myself :innocent

I agree. Even here in Mexico there's a leopard-mania. Leopard (and other animals) skin is printed everywhere. You know shoes, bags, glassess, bla blla bla. I really like (and my mom seems to like it too cause she has bought several leopard things LOL!)

And about the similarity of GUILTY with KINGDOM, there's simply none. Sorry, but Ayu will ALWAYS look better on it than Koda.
