Why is GUILTY #2 on Wikipedia?
 

I mean, it got #1 the first week so that counts. It peaked at #1.

Hmhm, but it was #1 for like, the first week, right? So doesn't that mean that she hasn't lost her #1 streak? I read that somewhere on the forum. It also says that on the wiki. o_o

That's correct, Guilty only peaked #2, ending her #1 streak.

*** = Guilty only topped the charts in its intial week. However, oricon combined its first two weeks, in which Guilty got the #2-position. But because it was on the first position in the first week, she has not lost her number 1 album streak yet.

I'm positive in terms of ORICON, she already has lost her streak. If it hasn't, then her official website and some news would be released regarding her continued streak, but on the contrary, I think it was on something weekly (the newspaper that releases sales info) that said her streak has ended :(.

even if there's , what matters's still the weekly sales , not so much on the daily although the daily sales are important to a certain extent .

One of the A BEST 2 editions didn't make #1 cause the other one was in the #1 slot... But that's just me being picky.

I don't think the daily chart records really mean anything after the fact, they're just used to calculate the weekly number... Sort of like how Tohoshinki's SUMMER single was ranked at number one on the daily, but it didn't count cause they lost out on the weekly. Weekly charts are the ones that matter when looking at an album or single's position.

Before ANYONE FURTHER misunderstands, I was just quoting the freaking Wikipedia that said that! _I_ never said it, she was #1 for enough time and I don't care that it "ended her streak" because _I_ still think the album rocks

I mean her so called no.1 streak have sorted ended when A BEST 2 was released . A BEST 2 -WHITE- debuted at no.1 on the weekly album chart while A BEST 2 -BLACK- debuted at no.2 on the weekly album chart so at that point , her 'no.1 streak' kinda ended .

anyway if you look at it in this way , it takes off the pressure to continue to be no.1 if you're referring to albums or singles debut . She can't forever be getting no.1's . Then again I don't think ayumi bothers about this anymore cos since her debut , she has smashed countless of records time & time again & that's enough to say the least .

U R wrong, both were on number one daily. BLack was the first day or something, then white was number one for the rest of the week.

The number one streak only refers to original albums, so still had her #1 streak until GUILTY.
