question about Moments

I read somewhere that Moments was a song that ayumi wrote specially for her last Kose ad/contract with the company & fans love the song so much they begged her to be released as a full song/single .

Is that true ? cos I somehow doubt it well 1/2 doubt it

It sounds like just a rumor to me, but then again I'm not 100% sure.

I'm pretty sure I heard that as well :S
I can't remember where from though.

^ me too...

moments is such a great song!!

chocopockymaster 15th April 2008 03:47 PM

For her last Kose Ad, Ayu wanted to have complete creative control...she directed it and created what would come to be the chorus of Moments. It was never meant to be a full song. She saw so much positive feedback on it from her TeamAyu BBS, however, that she decided to make it into a full song. (Hence the enoooormous difference between the CM and single/album versions.)

[So I've heard.]

prussian blue 15th April 2008 03:52 PM

^ whats the differenve between single and CM?

I 2nd that what's the diference aside from the length of the song , since CM's one's obviously shorter

ComatoseBunnySnatcher 15th April 2008 07:08 PM

^ Yeah.

Ayu's voice is also higher in the chorus and is vastly different than the single version.

milky_way 15th April 2008 07:15 PM

I'm happy she released a full version because that's my favorite Ayu song :)

chocopockymaster 15th April 2008 07:58 PM

Her voice is very, very, different. Higher and more nasal. (Especially when she sings "hana" at the very beginning.) Not to mention there's no background music when she starts singing in the CM version.

prussian blue 16th April 2008 10:11 AM

^ anyone has the CM?

baka-ranger 16th April 2008 10:44 AM

interesting, 'd love to see the cm too to compare the differences. haha good thing she got good feedback for it or it might not be a song today. And Moments is one of my favourite Ayu songs.

wenren93 16th April 2008 10:48 AM

yeah yeah !
:D Moments rocccccccccks ~
i wonder whether ayu will release another version ( like CM version ) of moments with higher pitch o.0
speak frankly, i prefer the CM version, the chorus sounds nicer

prussian blue 16th April 2008 02:40 PM

thx for the link~

Deneb 16th April 2008 02:54 PM

lol thanks for teh link xD errr....what to say MOMENT IS GREAT! lol :spam oh, thats right, i m capped again... can't dl the cm :cry... damn australia internet :|

I thought CM version of the song is like... shorter obviously duh... removes background music and increased the chorus's volume xDD

prussian blue 16th April 2008 02:57 PM

i htink the differences is just the mix only~

her sound also a little bit idfferent

sugarbasil 16th April 2008 05:53 PM

Yeah, I vaguely remember hearing about this when it came out, so it might be true.

Edit: nevermind, someone already confirmed it. :P And her voice in the CM is...annoying. XD Ah, well. :P
