Nakanomori Band announces breakup

Pop/rock quartet, Nakanomori BAND announced on Sunday, via their online blog, that they will be disbanding at the end of June. This announcement came following their live performance in Saitama on March 29th, when it was revealed that vocalist AYAKO was scheduled to undergo throat surgery. Unfortunately, following this hiatus, the band members have decided to dissolve the band and will continue on their separate ways.

Nakanomori Band initially formed in May 2004 and released their first single, “Raspberry Pie,” in February 2005. They have released 7 more singles and 3 albums since then.

i never listened to this band, but why so many disbandings already?! it's so sad.

This is so depressing. :( I started the Official Nakanomori Band Thread and it was only me and one other person talking, and then I hear they break up. :weep Geez, I finally like a new band and then they leave. :( As if their music wasn't hard enough to find. :(

I always wanted to try them out.. but didn't. Well, I'll still keep them in mind, though!
