Ayu + Utaban
 
Quick question. When was the last time Ayu was on Utaban? It srsly seems like the last time she was on was during the LOVEppears era.

Yeah, and it was the last time.

The duo that hosts [well, mainly one guy] are extremely rude individuals and make fun of their guests quite often. Ayu didn't appreciate that so.. yeah.

that was the last time, like true happiness says, the host are comedieans and tend to make fun of their guests. Ayu is a little to class and high profile to deal with them. Although Ai-chin likes to hang around with them.

Oh wow that sucks. I guess she doesn't really need Utaban but it still is one of my fave music shows, I love the games they play with the guests.

Even though the hosts are rude but it does make for good tv...the old episodes of Utaban with H!P guests are hilarious. I've actually started to like members because of how they made fun of them lol. "Johnson", Yasuda Kei and Yuko Nakazawa to be exact. ok that was way ot.

She didn't think she was too good for Utaban, but it was more of a fact that it didn't seem like they respected her as an artist/singer/musician. [to her probably, as well as her management..].

You don't really see that many avex artists on Utaban to begin with imo. [You can prove me wrong, but I do know that some avex artists do appear..]

I mean just look at how they treat Morning Musume's current line-up. "HERE IS A 5 MINUTE EDITED TALK SESSION WHILE WE AIR 45 MINUTES OF YAMADA YU."

ooops didn't mean to say ayu was too good for utaban, just that she felt a little disrepected at the comedy. (like truehappiness says) I dont remeber were I read this... maybe vivi/random mag, it was years ago so I can't recall

It's only speculation that she was offended and therefore won't go on the show. Part of it may also be image control. Ayumi doesn't book her own guest appearances, someone else does. That person may not want her to go on Utaban for whatever reason. In a separate issue, Ayumi used to go on many more music shows in her past and now doesn't have as much variety in her appearances (probably because she doesn't need to as she is established as a top artist).
