How does Ayu get in the air so quick?
 

Well, I'm talking about kiss o' kill, one second she's on the ground, and the next, she's already in the air~ so how did they do it? and i didn't see the cross while she was on the ground...

they used a double
i think the double's that girl that always pretends to be ayu in the rehearsals so the real ayu can "see what the audience sees"

...that makes so much sense, and the place ayu stops is probably the place where the stage lowers~ so the double put on a mask, and ayu is probably already in the air...ah! i never thought of a double!

so what other concerts does she use a double?

Yup, when they cover her in capes ayu is lowered under the stage to get ready for the cross and she's replaced by Poroko who wears a mask.

The only other time I can remember her using a double was at Dome Tour 2001.

oh i see! which performance during dome tour? i can only think of endless sorrow? @_@ really need to rewatch some concerts

im not sure but there are concerts where she introduces her doubles, so probably one of the performances of those concerts. not sure though, but those concerts are Arena tour 2002 and Dome tour 2001

Yeah it was Audience-Dome tour 2001.At the end while she was singing Who she introduce her 2 doubles.I dont know about Arena Tour 2007 but during Dome tour the doubles where Miura Kaneka and Atano Midori.

And at STADIUM TOUR 2002 for Boys & Girls...her double comes out on the top of the stage wearing a mask, and then Ayu pops up from the floor on the runway.

oo the audience must have been so surprised! i haven't seen that concert yet~ i'll watch it someday :D or buy it :D

For AT07 it was Takami "Poroko" Desaki

I wish they had shown how she did it.. because she got up there pretty stealthily. Sure we know she went under after the double came out, but how did she get up there relatively unseen until the lights flashed on her?

She used a double as well for CDL 06-07 right? After Free and Easy where she had a so-called onstage costume stage into the evolution outfit?

CDL06-07 was just people (namely her dancers) taking Ayu's clothes off into the evolution outfit. I don't think any use of a double was too evident there..

^Yea, it looked like the silver was easily ripped off and then she had the dark clothes underneath.

I know she used a double there in AT2002, between Free and Easy and evolution, but it's been a while since i've seen CDL so I'm not sure.
