CD Singles/composing vs. Asia market

As we know, Ayu has been trying to expand the Asia market in the last few years, by going on Asia tours, visiting diff Asia cities for PV/Calendar... here's the catch, she didn't release as many singles or write as many songs as she used to (time constraint, one of the reasons)

So, as for you, Ayu's fans, which way would you prefer Ayu to go for?
1) releasing more singles/write more songs?
2) expanding the Asia market? (more Asia tour / chinese songs?)

I've been having this question for years, but I'm happy to see her, whenever she's singing. as long as she's a singer/writer/composer. :P

i prefer option 1... i can't enjoy tours so for me its better to have more songs singles more tv performances, like before...etc... is what i can enjoy...

bye!

I prefer option 1 too, stick to where you can speak the language Ayu =/

i would love more asia tours, but stick with japanese..i never ever want ayu to sing korean~ some chinese is ok, but no korean!

i just think i'd rather have less releases, more rest for her and time to polish her songs, practice her english.

I think she should do whatever she wants, I'll support her no matter what... If branching out into Asia means more years like this, I'll live.

I can understand why you are all saying number one but you have to remember, after 10 years - maybe Ayu wants to play a bit more in the market. She wants to go a bit further and test the waters...

Also - it may not be time contraints stopping her from doing some of those things... perhaps Ayu is just now working at the same level or workload as most other singers... remember before she would be running from one show to another, to another, to another, then recording, then to another show etc....

I dont think Ayu will ever release songs in any language other than Japanese and i think we all prefer it that way hehe.

pommy48 12th September 2008 03:28 AM

LOL! i can just imagine a song on legs..popping in and saying hi!! LOL!
but ayu's chinese during AT07 was pretty good ^^..i prefer hers to BoA's

AyUta 12th September 2008 03:51 AM

I'd rather her stick with option 1. I want to hear more material from our dear Ayu :)

milky_way 12th September 2008 03:55 AM

I pick the first option.

I'm torn, but if she kept expanding on her Asia tours perhaps she'd eventually come to Australia...?! Or at least somewhere I can get to overseas for cheap!

I've been neglecting her older songs for a while now too, so I need some time to get reaqquainted with them :)

Jwiz 15th September 2008 06:09 AM

Option 1 for sure.

kirei_ayumi 15th September 2008 06:09 AM

the primary way to go is releasing more singles/write more songs.

LacusClyne 15th September 2008 07:42 AM

since her popularity is japan is dropping, while her popularity is asia is growing, i would like her to expand the market, but as for songs wise, just stick to japanese. One of te greatest strength about ayu is her written lyrics, so i prefer her to write.

KarenPang 15th September 2008 09:29 AM

release more new material for sure . Since her popularity has been decreasing as each year goes by in Japan , it make senses to expand & set her sights in Asia

chocopockymaster 15th September 2008 09:49 AM

I want her to compose something again...it's been ages!

ayumisrael 15th September 2008 09:56 AM

Mix of both.

I would like her to make more songs but I also think it's great she can perform and satisfy non japanese fans all together.
