New this year single??
 

Well, many of us are talking about GREEN and hoping for a new single soon.
But as for me it is stupid to release A COMPLETE ~ALL SINGLES~ if in month or 2 it will not be COMPLETE anymore. I think we will not have any single THIS YEAR. So we may wait for few live perfomances and new album announced in late October.
What do you think?

NO NEW ALBUM!..
there is BARELY any new song (MW is sooo not gona be in the Album...i hope)
so she can't release an album...this year with GUILTY is gd enuf to get by the "one-album-a-year" trend

as for GREEN...it sounds very Spring. But i'm thinking...December/January..yea..
once she has put down her AT08 stuff...she can embark on her new journey...with GREEN (growth? new? fresh?)...
GREEN somehow has that feeling of a new beginning to me...hahah

Since she hasn't had a lot of singles this year, I'd rather her do another mini album if she decides to put out another album in the first quarter of next year.

well yeah, but isn't it stupid to release new single this year after complete collection. Maybe 1 more digital single. It will be ok. And then really new and fresh album!!! with GREAT promotion

I doubt she will release new album this year. and u should think more objectively...GUILTY and AC isnt enough for you? She is quuen of releasing but shes not an idiot. If she releases a lot of people would be sick of her...

No it's not.

A new album right now will NOT sell. There's no incentive for the casual listeners...especially when Mirrorcle World is already on the single collection album.

She should just release AT08 first. XD Then she can do a new single. :3

I'm hoping she won't put Mirrorcle World on her next album. We had Mirror on GUILTY already, and now Mirrorcle World's been on A COMPLETE...She may put it on, she may not, but I'm hoping towards not. A COMPLETE is, essentially, a condensed version of her works over the past ten years. I hope any albums she puts out from this point on will not include material produced before A COMPLETE (which is limited to Mirrorcle World.) Like, from here on out she has a clean slate.

Please, no Mirrorcle World on the next album, Ayu!

I have feeling she will put 3A or 4A single and new album in december or january 2009. if not, she will release 2nd album

I think that they shouldnt release any single or album until next year...
maybe a single december-january

but i doubt that we will see a new album coming in the beginning of next year

I honestly don't get this whole omg-she-must-keep-the-single-collection-as-a-complete-release mindset. If you think about it, it's so pointless.

An album will not sell now. She needs at least another single. Otherwise, it'll be a year with only one single.

I think.. she will relaese a new single this year. Because.. A Complete, was for her 10th Aniversary.... the 10th aniversary is over.. so.. it is time for something new. So.. I thing... Green will be a Single... maybee in Oktober... or something like that.

I'm somehow thinking that Green may end up being the B-side (like Will).

It just doesn't seem like THAT strong of a song for an A-side.

GREEN may just be the second Will.

Made it to a CM as a BGR song, but never made it to a single nor ever performed.

If i'm an ayu fan, i'm not gonna be sick of her just because she releases a lot of stuff. Maybe if i'm a non-ayu fan sure, and we don't need to be bothering about non-fans.

Maybe she might do a domoto koichi and release an album after 1 single. I don't mind. Her single songs almost always appear in the album anyway. It makes no difference to me and probably the 400k japanese fans who only buy her albums. Who knows, it may make her album that little bit more worth it. More new tracks at least.

remember how long it took last year for her to release a single after A BEST 2? almost 5 months. in the worst case scenario we get a new single at the beginning of next year, but I think a winter ballad in november/december is more likely.

no idea, where she'll pull an album from. I don't want MW and Life on the album. T_T

I would like life but certainly not MW. Haha think of My Story. We only got 4 songs from the singles but 10 new tracks overall. 10 new tracks+Life+3 interludes, you get a Secret length album.

Actually, now that I think about it, A COMPLETE is a smart idea to fit Mirrorcle World somewhere in some album that's not the next album. As many have said, it doesn't really fit in a new album, does it? I can't see it happening. The release of A COMPLETE is pretty convenient to get over the fact that Mirrorcle World is Mirror ~extended ver.~. And also cos' it's Ayu's 10th this year, it's totally logical to have such a grand release (or well, big release, not that grand.)

As for a new single or album, I'm hoping for a mini album. (And the return of CREA. XD) It's unlikely that there will be a maxi single AND an album by the end of this year at this rate.

I think this is a good chance to break Ayu's release pattern that she'd developed over these years, releasing an album at the end of the year. Not only that, it might also give her some time to plan and release something really good next!!! (I'm really hoping for CREA, hehehe.)

Think about it, she put it on A COMPLETE because it IS a SINGLE!!!!!

she will release a new single this year, that's a 100% release, but there really isn't any need to release an album (full or mini) during this year.

i mean what's the point? she would have to rush it A LOT just to make a mini album and then the songs wouldn't be really good.
she will release GREEN/??? in October, and after that about 2 or 3 more singles and then somwhere in June (earlyest) we'll see a new album.
