Tracklist for Secret (Album) if released as mini-album...
 

Hey, i want to ask about this..
It might be old, but still i can't find..

Secret was supposed to be 7 tracks mini-album,
Then, which song included??
Any possible tracklist for mini-album?

But, if i wondering, 7 songs that will included in the mini album is...
1. Born To Be...
2. 1 LOVE
3. BLUE BIRD
4. Beautiful Fighters
5. Startin'
6. JEWEL
7. Secret

I think it probably would have been "momentum" instead of secret, and I think the mini-album would have been called "JEWEL", actually. I think those were the initial plans before ayu decided to make it a full album. (Secret might have been added later as a secret track or bonus track, like Memorial address was, but assuming that one wasn't done yet, I think the songs with PVs are the songs that were finished in time for the mini-album release announcement.)

Ayu's cds tend to clump genres together, so I think the tracklist order as planned by avex would have been more like

1. Beautiful Fighters
2. BLUE BIRD
3. 1 LOVE
4. Startin'
5, Born To Be...
6. momentum
7. JEWEL

(This somewhat mimics the pop-rock-ballads structure "Memorial address" had, now that I look at it.)

This isn't to say I would LIKE that tracklist, though... if it had to be those 7 songs, I think this would have been a better track order:

Born To Be...
Startin'
Beautiful Fighters
1 LOVE
momentum
BLUE BIRD
JEWEL

I think it would of been like Delirium-Zer0's tracklist with JEWEL, momentum, and 1 love. I also think the mini album would of been called JEWEL. I remembered when it was first announced as mini album, there was a flash thing on the official website. The background was pink with falling jewels/gems.

and the title of the mini album is "momentum".

Actually, the mini-album was already titled Secret and it had a .SWF file and all that just before the announcement that the album was to be made into a full one.

It was basically all of the singles, with 1 LOVE/momentum/JEWEL attached.. and then of course Secret wasn't in in initial tracklist. [probably mimicking the bonus trackiness that Memorial address had]

It was one of those things that happened, and then just as we found that out, the album was changed again.. much like how AT08 was a 2DVD and is now a 3DVD. I guess Ayu really likes waiting on information...

so the transition from a mini album to a full length album is just inclusion of more songs with everything else remained the same..

Well, I was simply quoting the link. Obviously they take old news off after a few months of being "old news" [like news from MY STORY obviously wouldn't still be up..]~

ooooh yeah huh ^^ I forgot the "Secret" title came about before the album became a full album.

The song "Secret" was probably done after the decision to make it 7 tracks, then... cuz yeah, her site had that jewel theme going on before a title was announced.

Probably, I think "Secret" woulda been a hidden track 8 then, or just track 8 stuck on there later like a bonus track, like Memorial address.

It's not often we can kinda see in what order songs were completed, is it? XD

We thought that 1 LOVE, JEWEL, momentum attached because that songs have their PV right??

But, i still wonder for until that Day...
From the information i got, originally until that Day... was only an interlude..
Because Ayu love the sound of guitar very much, she turned it into a full song.

If it is really an interlude, then she have to put it into album not in mini-album, right?

In one way its sad that they didnt do the mini-album thingy, cuz the album secret would have been AMAAAZING as mini-album. And if I compare to MA I think the tracklist would look like this;

7. BLUE BIRD
8. -secret/bonus track- Secret

Man what a happy album, like only momentum that is a pure sad song.

Personally I always thought the tracklist would be something like this:

2. 1LOVE
3. Born to Be...
4. Beautiful Fighters
5. BLUE BIRD
6. JEWEL
7. momentum
+Secret bonus track

Or something like that...

I still remember when it was announced...I can still see the pink background and pink and blue gems falling in the flash. XD

i remember her stating later that Until that Day... was supposed to be an intro, and that she liked it so much that she asked CMJK to extend it.

What about Secret? That song is super depressing. :thud

until that day... was supposed to be an interlude as well, right?

..or did they come up with this song after getting rid of the mini album idea...

i don't think Ayu could pull of sales with a mini-album anymore unfortunately :(

I do remember that everyone expected JEWEL and 1LOVE to be a single when they both showed up from panasonic and she said in that interview that until that Day... was supposed to be just an instrumental and she liked the beat so much she added lyrics and got it extended and such.
