Ayu Voice & Ayu Instrumentals

I'm sorry if this was posted before, but i want to know your opinions..

About Ayu Instrumentals, why Ayu backing voice is still appears?
Another artist with the same label, i mean Avex, like Ai Otsuka,
are having clear instrumental, but why Ayu is like that??

Sometimes, when i hear Ayu instrumental with her backing vocal seems annoying for me..
And then, in her making of, the instrumental were pure!!
Why Ayu doesn't add the clear version of her songs in her instrumental?

Is it because, her voice doesn't really good to hear?
For me Ayu voice was very good, even without that backing vocal..

Anyone can explain or give opinion?

This is to make us appreciate Peco and Princess - ESPECIALLY Princess; of all the wonders they bring to the song by singing the chords in certain parts of the song. Because you see... Ayu knows that 99.9% of her fans absolutely abhor Peco!

Okay joke's over... to be honest, I don't really know!

We hear Ayu's voice in instrumental at the moment where she sing with her I think. It's as choir sing with you if you do a karaoke!

It's just my point of view!

I don't know if what I said is very clear!

We hear the backings, backings are actually part of a REAL instrumental thats used in the studio, theres only the main vocals part missing.

jimex289 27th December 2008 07:42 PM

Personally I think it makes the songs sound better. Enhances the main vocals. I can see where there's a problem though. I tried singing to the instrumentals and found the backing vocals screwed up the my own singing lol. I couldn't sing the right notes of the lyrics.

noidea 27th December 2008 07:46 PM

Weoll, i like instrumentals without backings, but i quess we cant do anything...

ayuayu798 27th December 2008 08:46 PM

Yeah, I always wonder about that too... It's kinda annoying for the green instrumental, but I love the back up vioce in Mirrorcle world!! :P

The backing vocals are still there so you know what part of the song you're at.

Yeah that happens to me too and it kinda sucks ):

Yeah, I wish they were clear like almost every other artists' instrumentals that I know. I have no idea why it's almost unique to Ayu. I always thought that since Ayu cannot hear well, she needs some kind of enhancement.

:laugh I know what you mean. I wound up singing in the same pitch she sings in her backing vocals which is usually much different.

Anyway, I actually like that she sings in them. It makes them more fun to listen to.

The backings are great. You hear the wonderful harmonies and things you don't notice that really do make a difference.

I guess it's annoying, but, for me, they're part of the instrumental's composition.

Yea, it's kinda hard to edit..

These instrumentals were played in the karaoke box perhaps..

rusuke 28th December 2008 10:45 AM

For me, it's greater to have the background voices than nothing like to Kuu-chan's instrumentals..
Like Hikki, her instrumentals have background vocals too which she did all of the vocals..
I think Peco, Princess and other background vocalists aren't the only ones who did the backing but also ayu herself which proves that she can also be a background singer!

reixminako 28th December 2008 11:20 AM

I think it's annoying that the backing vocals are amplified for the instrumental tracks. Why can't they be as quiet as they are in the actual song?

Actually, mostly (if not all) those karaoke tracks have backing vocals the same levels as the singing version.
Its because the backing vocals are what give the old ayu style.
I cant explain, but the high backing vocals are very ayu like.
Especially in Green~~
I think Ayu sings the backing in Green.

asmAyumi1992 28th December 2008 04:35 PM

Long ago, I thought, Princess and Peco were really annoying me.
But, there's one Ayu's perf, the back up singer is appear and really make me surprise that the song was completely perfect!
Then, I realized that the back up singers' voice wil make the song better IF their voice is in a very slow voice. Moreover, their voices will cover up Ayu's voice when Ayu is not in the right pitch. It is because, When combining both back up singers' voice, it would be sound like Ayu's voice. I don't really know what is the truth. But I think, they are really suit to Ayu.

Anti-Peco fan here! LOL.

Actually, the backing vocals are really the harmonies and chords of those parts of the song. Actually, you can hear Peco/Princess sing these backings in live performances... cos yeah it's what makes the song extra beautiful.

I think she does many of them,
But in many albums, especially early ones, there is a backing vocalist credited.
I cant remember her name, but truehappiness showed me that one.
So I think shes had many backup vocalist.
And remember around forgiveness, she had those other ones.
And in the TA tour too.
