Since when was it someone's place to decide what someone can and cannot wear? ;) She's going to keep wearing miniskirts well into her 30s, until someone stops her. Sry2say for those that can't handle it. :(

Having had long hair for 20 years (before I cut it last summer) I know that it gets really tiring to be constantly told to "cut it for a change!" Personally I LOVE LOVE Namie's long, amazing hair. And she should keep the miniskirts and the boots. Personally, when I think of Namie, I think of WANT ME, WANT ME Namie, and that encompasses all those things. :love

Sometimes you just know what works. Plus she's well into her career enough that she has control over her image, much like Ayu. Personally I think Ayu looks better with short hair, but I know she'll keep going back and forth back and forth, because that's just her style.

And I don't really believe in "age appropriate" in regards to "too old". If you look good, you look good. And Namie is HARDLY too old for miniskirts. She still looks younger than *me*, for goodness sake, and I was born in a later decade than her.

Even if she did cut her hair, it wouldn't take long for it grow back (she said so herself) and it's not like she looks bad with short hair. She must like her hair long or something.

I have to agree with Kaori. Mini-skirts and boots don't go with everything or every season. Namie can rock them but it does get a little tiring.

The Japanese people are obviously not tired of her look seeing as she has like been doing it since her super monkey days. So it doesn't really matter what we think, if they still like it then she will keep doing it :yes

But to be honest, I do like seeing her in other forms of shoes besides boots! Her boots are always rockin' but I think she looks good an anything.

But you can always count on Namie for having a trade mark. Unlike some other artists, she's easy to identify hahahaha.

And I don't think mini skirts are inappropriate for someone her age. She looks damn good in them (I wish I could wear them like she does!). If you can make it work, work it ;)

i bet wearing those high-heeled boots all the time must be stressful, maybe she can slowly transition to more comfortable footwear for her next era :P

I think its pretty cool she can dance so well in the heels. I would'nt know, but I think thats pretty hard.

She lives in those boots :yes I wouldn't be surprised if she also sleeps in them.
