Why only MY STORY, RAINBOW and CAROLS?

I have a question.
I was wondering why only CAROLS and MY STORY were released in a SACD version and why only MY STORY, CAROLS and RAINOW were released in a DVD-audio version?
(As far as I know, these are the only ones released in the formats mentioned above, if there were more singles though, then please correct me.)

Was it because nobody wanted them? :P

Yeah, I believe they didn't really sell well, and seeing how physical CDs have become less popular, I don't think it was really worth for avex to expend on producing those.:bchuck

still I think it's weird why they only did RAINBOW and MY STORY. I mean, why couldn't they also made Memorial address (I'll just leave A BALLADS out, since that is more of a remix album) in a DVD-audio version? Because it's a mini-album? :confused

I guess we'll never really know, right? :bsigh

hhha I guess so...I don't know. I think avex was just going experimental and seeing if people would really embrace the idea. Why they jumped MA will remain a mystery, but I also think it was because it was just a mini-album.

What's the difference between SACD and regular CD? Lmao. One just has higher quality I guess?

For me, I think they made a marketing experiment on Ayu.
So, they tried to sell RAINBOW and MY STORY on DVD-AUDIO and CAROLS on SACD just in case if it sells well.

I think it didn't do a good job. :-|

do sacd play with regular cd player because they are a lot more expensive than regular cd

A BEST was supposed to be released on DVDA aswell; but the release was canceled if I recall correctly.. for the obvious reason that very few people would buy a DVDA, I guess..

i didnt know they wanted to do that with a best . wth all those diffent cover ithink a dvd version would have been too much
