NEXT LEVEL is called 新起步 - avex Taiwan

http://www.avex.com.tw/4th/artist/ar...-2038&cateid=2

I thought 新起步 sounded like 濱崎步 when I read out both phases in chinese'

'xin qi bu' is or doesn't equal to 'bin qi bu' ?

ok I'm being lame here , sorry :dead2 & the album will be out next Fri in Taiwan :)

Keiichi_JPU 20th March 2009 06:56 PM

so the commercials will say "Bin Qi Bu... New Album... Xin Qi Bu..."

(or whatever new album is, xian .. CD or something :laugh )

can't wait to see that :)

Preety interesting =D

pommy48 20th March 2009 09:47 PM

lol pretty nice, it's like a pun

translated it'll be like @_@ "New start-up"..or something like that <3

Ayumiko 20th March 2009 10:59 PM

I like the name even though it has nothing to do with 'next level'

New starting step?

Keiichi_JPU 21st March 2009 12:29 AM

may I ask why they just don't call it NEXT LEVEL?

Because it looks ugly to have Western letters in a Chinese sentence or something? and 3 characters is a lot shorter than NEXT LEVEL?

I mean she's not calling her album "shin-reboru" or something :laugh thank god no

Ayu_no_tenshi 21st March 2009 01:00 AM

i would translate that as "NEW START" but whatever. i don't understand why everything is always changed in chinese. "NEXT LEVEL" is the official name...why can't it just stay that way?

jiarongisme 21st March 2009 01:13 AM

Taiwan's album names are like this~

I really like the Taiwanese name for the ayu-mi-x ones.

prussian blue 21st March 2009 03:07 AM

^and also (m)u, its genius translation! i always love chinese transaltion, it sounds so unique and funky

alternarist 21st March 2009 03:12 AM

wow this is really creative for the producers..

but again, if all the album has the 步 in it, it becomes kinda repetitve because it's not really necessary although it is cool..

Chef+Vanny 21st March 2009 03:19 AM

yeah!thats what i thought of when i saw this thread
