GUILTY is number 2 rite??? I dont really understand what oricon trying to say.
|
I think it's the same thing with the singles; she's the first (probably female solo) to have a number one full (studio or compilation) album every year since her debut (which is a period of 11 years).
A BEST was released in 2001, I guess making her in contention for this record. |
she deserve to be 1rst artist
Congratulations chon chan |
That's great news!
Actually, when I saw the thread title I wasn't sure if it was good news or bad news! xD I'm glad it's a nice record~ |
i don't understand what she achieved...but congrats anyway
|
I think it's saying she's the first artist for all her albums to go #1 for 11 years since debut. So, no other artist has had consecutive number for 11 years ones since they've debuted?
GUILTY was #2, but was #1 for it's first week so maybe they've counted that. |
awesome!!! glad to see they counted GUILTY as it should have been...
|
Great news
Thanks. |
1st and 1st??Im confused anyway
GRATZ TO OUR AYU!!!!!!!!!!:D:D |
Long Live AYU!!

I even don't understand. Oricon means she won at least one #1 album every year since 1999. So, in 2008, she couldn't get #1 for Guilty, but she won for A Complete.
BUT, in 2005, she didn't get #1. MY STORY was #1 at the end of 2004, MY STORY Classical got #4 in 2005. The following link is the list of #1 ALBUMS in 2005, but ayu's album is not listed (sorry the site is written in Japanese) http://homepage3.nifty.com/kt1980/ch...bum/index.html Umm,, can someone explain what Oricon actually means?? |
^But MY STORY was released on the Oricon year of 2005.
In oricon years she's the only female solo artist in those 11 years that got #1 for albums and singles every year in a row since her debut. Oricon give awards and achievements according to their own years. The oricon year stars around mid (around 10th-15th) December and ends a day before hand. Awesome =DD Another achivement only ayu can have! |
I find it so odd ! ^^ !
|
Oricon? one chart for japanese singers? a BIG chart?
