NEXT LEVEL making ofs...
 

Does anyone else notice how annoying and pushy Shitmomura seems to be in the making ofs for GREEN and Sparkle? In other music video making ofs, you see Ayu making decisions and giving input, but for those two videos, Shitmomura seems to take over. It's hard to say for sure because the making of footage is of course 4-5 minutes spliced from hours of work, but still... :grumpy

It certainly doesn't make me like Shitmomura any better! His photography and directing skills leave much to be desired... he's just lucky that Sparkle as a song worked ok with his choppy style. :innocent

I know right. Mirrorcle World and GREEN were horrendous PVs and though Sparkle was quite decent... he's still kind of, ugh I don't know. I think Ayu is that kind of person who wants to give her input and ideas, and this guy doesn't seem to let her do that...

Yeah he is terribly pushy! I was saying "shut up!" to him the whole time I was watching.

i despise him, but it was funny how he was giving direction to do all the hand movement in the red...box..thing

I love all the makings, but they are nothing exceptional. :P

LOL. I know right. His actions and mannerism make me feel like punching his face. :rolleyes

And did you guys watch the making of Rule? Ayu was giving so many GOOD and CONSTRUCTIVE opinions/input about the dance, the action/standing up of the dancers etc... and Rule turned out to be such a good PV.

Sparkle was good, but that eew-guy only got lucky cos it's a song where Ayu's fierce face (which was "invented" by him) worked. For songs like GREEN... no, and Mirrorcle World was like WAY over the top.

I hate the way he does the videos, they are just stupid! all of them have an interesting concept, but he completely ruins it with his bad directing.. :grumpy

That's exactly how I feel about it! And the more I watch his videos, the clearer the bad directing seems to be. It's like, the first time I watch it, I'm interested because there is some kind of concept there, but the second time, I start to wonder... "Why does the video cut away here? What does this random moment of Ayu putting her hand on her face have to do with everything else?" And then I start to get annoyed... :irked
