I hope she can release a new album this year if not I welcome a compilation album where she consolidates all of her ~YUI Acoustic Version~ songs that she has been doing since Tomorrow's way if she can do that for a B-side compilation album ala MY SHORT STORIES , why not for this idea ? I will buy a copy if this idea materialises in the future |
Her other compliation album sold well, but if she's making a sort-of comeback, will she do another one? o-o I mean, usually artist's make a new album and then release a compliation album a few months afterwards when they've secured their comeback place in the charts, and know they're still popular...but if this is just a summer single with no album, I guess a compliation album might come about ^o^
I wouldn't mind one to be honest, I love her ~Acoustic~ songs. I know I'm missing a lot too ==; So it'd be great if I could buy them like that, haha~ |

have to see what STUDIOSEVEN Recordings have up their sleeves on this but I do hope a new album will be released this year cos I LOVED YESTERDAY had 3 singles so maybe this will follow suit ? :shrug & yes her acoustic songs are fantastic , I really like all of them , helps that I'm a sucker for acoustic tunes haha xD xD |
Three singles before an album like I LOVED YESTERDAY would be good <3 I really liked that album! :'D My favourite songs from that are Daydreamer and Am I Wrong <3

I haven't listened to either ARASHI or KAT-TUN >o<'; So I don't know if their albums sound similar or not >->; Haha~ Well, I didn't really like MY SHORT STORIES for a while, until I properly listened to I'll be. After that, the rest of the album grew on me XF |

^ When I first listened to Yui, I didn't think she would be so popular in Japan. I loved her simple acoustic style and her sweet voice, but I didn't know if it stood out so much in the fast-track Japanese music industry. However, I guess everyone fell under Yui's spell~ She's so popular! ^o^
I've heard a lot about both bands, especially now I've joined AHS. I might have to listen one of these days, but I'm putting off getting music-obsessed until my exams finish XD Unfortunately, I haven't got the money or time to keep up with DVD offers and to properly buy albums. This summer...I'm getting a job! XD And no problem about the PM~ ^o^ |

Yes, most of her song covers and PV's are pretty simple and to the point. Yui never really gives off a flashy portrayal of herself (No offence to Ayumi, Kuu and all the other singers that do ^o^''), it's nice just to have a change. I guess since most, if not all, of her songs have a definite guitar strum all the way through, it's comforting as well to know her exact style~
Ah, and I'll definitely come to you then for reccomendations! XD In the summer, you'll be swamped with requests for new music from me ^_~ Haha~ In England, there is no advertisements for Japanese music at all or any mentions of Japanese artists (Or any Asian ones in that matter), so it's hard to discover new music. I discovered Ayumi through luck, and others by luck too~ It's easier now because I've learnt about the Internet, but most of my friends aren't into Japanese/Asian music, so I don't know where to look XF Yes, AHS is a great place! I love it here~! <3 XD |
