Songs with no remixes
 

There aren't too many, but I wonder why some songs don't have any remixes.
Personally, it's rare that a remix tops the original, but it gives a nice, sometimes new feeling to a song.

Currently, these songs have no remixes (I'm not counting her debut album, nor am I counting acoustic/classical, I don't consider them remixes)

I'm also not counting NEXT LEVEL, because for all we know, a new ayu-mi-x or ayu trance will be released.

Lol...the only remix I think that tops the original is Two of us "Hal's Mix"

I WOULD LOVE some remixes of these never-before remixed songs, including more remixes of epic songs like [still alone], [JEWEL], and [fairyland].

What are you thoughts/opinions?
I have 1057 ayu tracks in my iPod...holy hell. LOL and this isn't even everything, because I don't have some intrumentals and remixes I'm not too fond of, haha.

I'm so obsessed with ayu. she's my life.

I really love some fan-remixes of some of the songs, so a new remix album would be amazing. but Im not sure if we will get one, Ayu-mix 6 sold better than the ayu-mix before, but there was a long break between and it still did not sell really well and im sure if they release one this year or early in 2010 it will sell WORSE

The ever free remix tops the original... but why aren't you counting acoustic/classical stuff? Those arrangements are different from the original tracks, thus te are re...mixed.

Well, I think the acoustic versions should be seen seperated from the remixes as well, simply because the style is just SO different, they are nothing ayu would put on Ayu-Mi-X

Like SoCrazy, I did not add NEXT LEVEL songs or acoustic/orchestra versions. If acoustic/orchestra was included then Honey, Hope or Pain, and Winding Road would be off the list, since the majority of acoustic/orchestra versions are songs that are already remixed. Unlike SoCrazy, I did not include "LOVE ~Refrain~", since I treat it as another version of the original "LOVE ~Destiny~", which has a remix.

Those songs are some of Ayu's most epic ones ever....I really wish mixes did exist for them! ;__;

I don't think acoustics/classicals should count, it's a different arrangement, but I just don't technically consider it a "remix".

I didn't count her debut album because she wasn't very popular and whatnot...well, even tho ayu-mi-x was released.

re-mix. take a song, mix it, then mix it again. acoustic are sort of remixes. since every single song of hers are run through the studio first (otherwise thered be mistakes and tons of messy peices). so in a technical sense. yes they are remixes.

I personally think she has enough remixes. Most of them aren't even good. I'm actually glad she stopped releasing her singles with tons of remixes cause none of them were ever good (minus a few, I prob. love every song off the daybreak, and rule singles). but it just got ridiculous. aside from the fact that we get 1-2 albums a freaking year, on top of that theres not a single ayumix that is just one album. all of them are 2 albums minus ayumix 2, and I think ayumix 3. then if that's not enough, theres another side of remixes like the eurotrance, cyber trance, thingy that just add to the whole collection.

I don't mind a few remix albums but honestly, ayu is just ridiculous with them. she needs to go back in time and pace herself, you know, release one after like, every three albums so we're not flooded with them and wondering why we have like, 8 remixes of a song for xx on 3 different albums and a list on new awesome songs that don't have any remixes yet.

hmmm, I wld consider acoustic/classical as a remix since it's different from the original..
I dun mind if she doesn't have remix for some of the songs. To me, the original is good enough. And it depends on how the remix sounds like. some aren't really nice.

I'd love to see acoustic orchestra remixes of a lot of those songs. (Acoustic orchestra Angel's Song or Secret would be awesome.) Heck, I'd love to see acoustic orchestra remixes of a lot of her songs past Rainbow, since the only acoustic orchestra remix album we got after that was My Story Classical.

Then Ruby and Sapphire, followed by FireRed and LeafGreen ... =P

hm...I didn't think of that. since ayumix 6 is gold and silver, I was thinking ayumix 7 to be copper and platinum, or something along the transition metals in the D sublevel. like chromium or mercury. oooh cool.

I'm pretty sure the 3289403289 remixes on a single thing was a trend back in the day. Ayu wasn't the only artist doing it, it was just kinda like the 'thing' to do, so they packed each single was as much mixes as they could. Usually I'm not a fan of that kinda stuff but I found most of these mixes to be really good. Especially the "I am..." ones and the HAL mixes. Those are always great.

The same applies with the remix albums and all their different genres (mega mix, trance, eurobeat). It was made for clubs, not like.. mainstream appeal. That, too, died out in popularity in the late 90s / early millennium, which is why it took us so long to see an ayu-mix 6.
