miryoku 13th September 2003 07:41 PM

i'll do my favourite lines from my favourite bands.

1. "when you take my soul don't take my pride..."
2. "I stop and I stare too much...Afraid that I care too much... And I hardly dare to touch...For fear that the spell may be broken"
3. "This is a low...But it won't hurt you...When you are alone it will be there with you...Finding ways to stay solo"
4. "No one I think is in my tree ...I mean it must be high or low"
5. "How you get a rude and a reckless?...Don't you be so crude and a feckless...You been drinking brew for breakfast"
6. "Not just deaf and dumb...Staring at the sun...I'm not the only one...Who'd rather go blind"
7. "I used to think that the day would never come...I'd see delight in the shade of the morning sun...My morning sun is the drug that brings me near ...To the childhood I lost , replaced by fear"
8. "And she gave away the secrets of her past...And said I've lost control again"
9. "Shiver and say the words... every lie you've heard."

:laugh i like her. the list is my favorites. honestly, she's not one of my favorites. i just dont like it when people talk trash about her. she's not as bad as a lot of people think she is...but..i dont prefer her music on top of everyone elses :)

StorDuff 14th September 2003 03:59 PM

Nope, to be honest, I've never really persued them after the break up. I have an Alec Empire/Techno Animal CD, some Hanin Elias and Nic Endo tracks on my computer, and I've never heard Carl Crack. Nic Endo's noise music is just awful, Hanin is OK, and Alec is trying to be the same but without the other 3. I'll try to find that track though :)

sxesven 14th September 2003 04:10 PM

Oh I asked you that question here, nevermind the other topic then :D

It's not a track tho, it's a full live record, dating from 1998 when ATR was still together. Alec Empire and Merzbow performed together in CBGB's. It's such an awesome record.

I gotta get my hands on some Nic Endo stuff tho. It's noisy and she's half Japanese. I love it already.

StorDuff 14th September 2003 04:34 PM

Yes, I love that tatoo on her face too!

Her solo music ranges from noise to almost jungle like. Skip over White Heat and such and listen to Heroines, her solo music isn't angry at all. Nor is Hanin Elias, and I loved her :(

I've still yet to hear the Live at Brixton album too.
