Theories on the 'Rock'n'Roll Circus' "Project"
 

So it seems each year Ayu is relying more and more on touring. She has become a traveling act. Much like a Circus.

I think in most past tours, the album idea was thought up or the image, and then the tour went about like "hm, how can we act this out on stage?"

With Rock'n'Roll Circus, I think maybe they thought "let's use the idea of touring in itself" creating ideas or acts for the stage and ayu then basing songs around those ideas. With the pairing of Arena Tour 09, and rumors of 2011 ASIA TOUR, it seems ayu and avex really think her marketability now relys so heavily on shows. That might also be why that although she's been recording so long, it's more work for the tour because it goes with the image?

Also, if 10 new tracks are "planned," maybe she'll ad more tracks that they've been working on but they won't be part of the performances.

Can't we just wait for the album and see how is it going to be?x,x

ok well... if i had to give it a seemingly ayu sounding meaning, i guess it would be a circus, of perhaps events and feelings that happen throughout a "show" or someone's life, with intensity? LOL i don't know hopefully it's not something like "i really am into rock right now!"

I think it's fun tossing around ideas while we wait in the meantime. Lol.

I guess, since it's in the chat room section it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Though maybe you'd want to change the title to "Theories of Rock'n'Roll Circus" since other people are bound to share theirs anyway.

I always think that Ayu's concerts was already like a circus, maybe she's trying to make it more interesting this year

I can see it now: Ayu comes on stage, topless, wearing a tiny little top-hat on her head. She'll start tap dancing, and lions and tigers will run on stage and she will beat them off with her microphone while singing Microphone. This tour is gonna be EPIC.

Well, Future Classics' concert was said to be a bit of a prequel to the tour in a way, and at the time of creating Future Classics, that's when she came up with the tour concept.

I can't wait for her to explain it, ugh.

i like your idea . this way it all make sense . koda kumi had her "trick " magic circus show right after the album was release and no matter how awfull that album was i have to admit the show was really interresting .

not that i wanna compare ayu and kuu but i m expecting avex to do something similar with ayu . the circus theme.. the magic and a really big show .

maybe finally we can actually SEE the glass being shattered during her performance of Mirrorcle World LOL

"Rock'n'Roll Circus" is a semi-popular album title, with it being used on quite a few albums (especially in Japan). I think she saw this title and liked it so much she decided to base her album and tour around this title.
