Different country Styled/themed covers

So the theme for the new album cover is Obviously British,
But it got me wondering, what other country style do you all think she would look good with, or she should try out.

I live in Holland, so the first thing trhat comes to my mind is Dutch, you know the famous windmills, tullips and our cheese ... i wonder if she could pull that off and not look tacky :P

Hm...maybe something from Spain? I think something with Spanish influence would look cool :D

when you said african i immediatly though "appears" haha. She should do a koda kumi 12 singles thing where every cover represents a nationality (except for the fact that she did america twice)

xLitax 15th March 2010 01:48 AM

appears is what i was thinkin. and then i remembered the thing on Americas next Top Model. its like "ayus black liek me OMG!!!" when i first saw appears cover lol

she should do the whole kumi thing. but maybe some different cultures. . .but i wanna see african ayu.she has to pick a tribe that has more clothing though. and lots of jewelry. they have so much gold.

zyoeru 15th March 2010 02:21 AM

well the single covers were shot in the waterfront outside of hong kong. Not sure if that counts as "chinese influenced" though.

this is what we have:

inspire/game - spain
glitter/fated - hong kong
missunderstood/loveppears/b&d/pride - new york city
dearest - california
rock and roll circus - england
Guilty - desert (in some country lol)
fairyland/alterna - hawaii
blue bird - guam

that's all i can think of off the top of my head when it comes to covers. :/

primavera♥ 15th March 2010 02:30 AM

GREEN is china yes?

oh oh wait is it just covers? (fail)

majrakun 15th March 2010 03:38 AM

I don't think she meant the locations. She's talking about the theme/style for covers.
I don't see the Chinese influence on glitter/fated cover or the influence in dearest, GUILTY....

She should have done something like that when she went to Paris for Mirrorcle World! Argh! If only we could turn back time and become her stylists or whatever. XD

S/S was in Bali. idk if her outfit resembled the style though.

primavera♥ 15th March 2010 04:08 AM

^^ she shoudve done a pv in that style. things were so gorgeous back then (for the nobles) . . .what i would be curious about is ayu as a peasant during the era . . .well actually maybe not

GRACE 15th March 2010 04:12 AM

well, she did use black face on appears, but I don't know if that's "different country styled" or "racist styled"...
